I don't know how widely distributed LaTiara taco shells are, but they've been a staple in KC and our house for decades. They're just the best. 
 

They closed a couple years back and there's been a lot of interest in them possibly coming back. It seems they are!

I've seen the brand, I dont know if I have ever bought them.   They do seem familiar though.  

Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. (me)

Yes but very good. A little flour tortilla under them works.

Or just start with that. Spent some time in Mexico chasing those green fish, during which I fell in love with flour tortillas. They come with everything down there.

Couldn't agree more Ness! The Old El Paso shells require a chisel and a note from your dentist. I will be glad when they are back on the market. I hope General Mills doesn't do the same thing as Rapala did to warts.

Agree-the others are so thick and hard and kinda tear up your mouth. Interesting to hear they have a following outside the KC area.
