Lake from Arkansas line to Big M was at maximum fisherman capacity. Bass fishing was tough for us. 15 fish in 6 hours with 3 keepers. It’s simply amazing how many fish will approach a jerkbait and reject it. A-rig and jig for us. fisherman capacity I wonder how they did? I hope they didn't clean it out
Bill Babler Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Been seeing a lot of posts on Facebook, and they are catching. I’m guessing jig with a live minnow or small swimbait. Neighbor has caught some this last few days on A-rig. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
rps Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Years ago, I read an article about fishing for walleye with the elder Fletcher. His name escapes me, but Jeff is his son. Anyway, the article said his preferred Spring bait was a pink road runner tipped with a small minnow. Greenwood, the man who owns the wooded pontoon house, uses a small white swim bait, but often tips it as well.
Ron Burgundy Posted February 18 Posted February 18 Good thing about low water years it seems to keep the trout guides turned walleye guide for two months from slaughtering them each day. snagged in outlet 3 1 Gone but not forgotten Martin Ford
