willyfish Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago It’s such a simple technique to do too . You actually showed me that deal on a trip about 20 years a go Bill. We were swimming grubs then , keitechs weren’t the thing then.

I have not seen a single pro do that this week. Unreal. Was watching Alton Jone Jr throw a new line through deal and thinking: if he just would downsize to a 2.8 he would be getting so many more bites. But- these guys just chuck and wind so fast- I’m sure they feel like the little swimmer deal is just too slow, especially without the FSS. Was pulling for MDJ but when I saw the weather today I knew he was cooked. I wish somone had a cast counter on him because he must have made 10,000 casts with that crank bait this week. snagged in outlet 3 and Quillback 2
Quillback Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago One thing I picked up on was how those guys shake those minnows they throw. snagged in outlet 3 1
Quillback Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago You'll never see those guys throw a ned rig, but they were chomping on them on Beaver yesterday AM. snagged in outlet 3 1

I think the most impactful thing I learned from watching the pros was going back to places where you already caught fish. Amazing how even if you think you’ve pounded them to death many times you can go back and catch more.
