Bill Babler Posted Tuesday at 11:38 PM Posted Tuesday at 11:38 PM Neighbor and I started where I had the topwater bite yesterday. 0700 start with surface temps at 65.6. Water Ice Tea color. They were not on top, but DEEP. School after school of shad anywhere from 26’ to 40’. Wolf Packs of pre-spawn Big K’s chasing them. Didn’t restart the boat till 11:00. Have no idea how many, but caught the majority on FFS, shaking a minnow. 1/2 oz. Dixie Jet jigging spoon worked too along with a 2.8 Keitech. These 2 K’s were 18”. Really to many 15” plus to keep track of. Those 2 were the longest. nomolites, Dewayne French, Bassinboy14 and 4 others 7 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
Quillback Posted Wednesday at 08:57 AM Posted Wednesday at 08:57 AM Nice! You're showing too much background, I think I know where that spot it. 😎 Looks like it was nice and calm, it was windy on Beaver yesterday early and got worse as the morning went on. Congrats on another great fishing day!
rps Posted Wednesday at 09:59 PM Posted Wednesday at 09:59 PM Quillback, I am of course wrong, but looks like downstream of ER and upstream of Big M. Way out on flat gravel points. Quillback 1

Members CarpSlayer Posted 3 hours ago Members Posted 3 hours ago Im going to the James River area tomorrow. What would you throw at them to catch some bass?
Bill Babler Posted 13 minutes ago Author Posted 13 minutes ago I’d look for topwater early and depending on water color and bottom composition maybe a crayfish crank or jig. You can try a chatterbait or blade also http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
