I’ve heard after a good rain you can catch fish back up on creeks where the water is flowing in? If that’s true, I assume today would be a good day to go up clifty or Indian creek? I’ve only been fishing beaver for a couple of years. We have a place around pt 5, just trying to learn more about fishing conditions and how to time them right!

I was out yesterday but did not look into the backs of the creeks.  Didn't see much water coming in, just a bit in a few of little gullies coming down the banks.

If I lived where you did, I would go check the back of North Clifty (Henry Hollow).  Might be some fish back there, I have fished it a couple of times in the spring and ran into whites, black bass, and walleye.

On the west side of the point 5, that bluff that runs from point 5 to the south is worth checking out for a top water bite (stripers and black bass).  It may still be a bit early, but in May they should start showing up.  Get there early in the morning on a calm day and look for blow-ups.

Fished yesterday, the only thing I found in the backs of creeks/pockets were white bass with the exception of one 100 yard narrow pocket.  I saw a couple of bedding fish.

Most of the bass I caught were midway to the mouth of pockets.  Water temp's where i was fishing were 64/65

You're gonna have a hard time getting much info on Beaver. It should've been named Bear Lake because that's what it is to try and figure out --- a big ol' bear. And when folks do manage to find a piece of the puzzle, they aren't apt to share it.

As for your question, yes, fish that are already up shallow to spawn will definitely feed in the runoffs. Hard to beat a finesse jig for these.
