I went the square bill to where I fished Sunday. My regular milk run.   WT 67, north wind.   The color was much better today. A nice green color.    Spent the first hour throwing the buzzer had 10 blowups and only got one in the boat.🤷‍♂️.  A couple were BIG blowups.  
I went back to the square bill like I’ve been fishing the past two trips and smoked em!   Nothing huge, just nice keeper sized.   Tried a senko, finesse jig and spinnerbait but only caught one the jig.  They are really on the SB.  I had 10 after the first 2 hours and probably caught 30 today.   As usual, I caught everything from the blank out to 6-7’.   
 

An odd thing happened to me on the way back to the ramp    I’m cruising along about 300 yards from Shore and a guy on shore is giving me the slowdown signal    Waving his arms down to get me to slow down.    He’s standing on the bank!!!!      I gave him the palms up like what’s up and he again gave me the slowdown signal.     There’s absolutely nobody around, no docks and he’s on the bank.    I just kept going.

That Frittside is a terrible squarebill. Besides, you aren't supposed to throw flat-sided cranks when the water temp is above 35. Please gather up any and all you may have and ship them to me for proper disposal.

There’s 2 of them I can send you a pin drop for.   You’ll need swim goggles to get them.   Even the ole hound dog couldn’t get them.  One of them I got on sale half price but the other I paid full price.  Darn near cried on the second one.  Highly overrated though.

I wouldn't give up on them. They've caught more than a few for me. Just like any crank, they need to be digging bottom and bouncing off of rocks. Stick with your reds in spring on TR.
