Didn't miss much today. It was tough for me. Couldn't get fish to bite topwater this morning. Looked like spaghetti on my graph and they wouldn't take a drop shot early either. Weird morning. After the sun got higher I had a lot more success but still not the kind of day I've been seeing others report. Between 10-15 bass with only two keepers. Biggest was around 2 lbs. I'm sure this warm front had something to do with it or I just didn't put together the right plan. Thanks for the pics.

I'm with ya RPS. I have the big one and it make crazy commotion. I also have the Jackal Binksey which is a 3 in 1 top water. It looks more like a popper.

My guess is by that time of year the fish should be moving a little shallower and start heading toward the backs of creek arms. Following shad migration. Top water should be in play as well. I would start toward the mouth of the creek and work my way toward the back. Main points and secondary points are a great place to start. Good luck.

You could try a drop shot as well. Did this on Table Rock a month ago. See one surface that is chasing bait fish. Throw right near the boil and let it free fall.
