  1. I have BFL to fish. Wish I could fish it. Fun tournament.
  2. I would live to go with you sometime and see how its done. I bass fish and don't have a clue how to troll.
  3. I wasn't anywhere close to being in contention but a lot of people thought 18 lbs would win that thing. To get 22 lbs is crazy this time of year. I hope there was no funny business.
  4. Even more reason not to be a Dbag isn't it?
  5. I fished the Chamber also. Same story as Champ. We had a limit by 10 o clock. 5 were on topwater. Funny thing is we culled twice and still only wieghed in 8.17 lbs. i thought we had more weight than that. I felt like an idiot cuz I told a few people we had around 10lbs. Had a great time and caught a bunch of fish.
  6. I heard they were there this morning. The guys who weighed in 22 lbs in the Chamber tourney said there was all species hitting topwater at the dam. It was very foggy though. Think that had a lot to do with it.
  7. Thanks Bill. I will give em a shot and hope for the best. There must be a lot of people reading your reports cuz every decent color of 4 inchers was sold out at HL&S.
  8. I use bobber stops. They seem better because they dont make the weight off center like a T stop does. Everything is in line and strait with bobber stop and it allows your weight to move freely. Try it and youll never use T stops again.
  9. I bought Kalins. I usually use the Kanimi in shad pattern. I hate cutting grubs short. In my mind it won't work as well. If i don't have luck with 5 inch i will shorten it and see.
  10. Will a 5 inch grub work? That is all i can find in colors you guys are having success with.
  11. There is gonna be around 300 boats in that Chamber tourney on Saturday. Might be a little bumpy.
  12. Crazy how much difference the water temps are compared to Beaver. They are up shallow and temps are mid 60's
  13. What Kind of boat do you fish F&F ? I will come by and say hi some time.
  14. Nevermind. I was just informed I have a Birthday party for a neice I have to attend.
  15. I am assuming 4dr? Title clear or is there a payoff?
  16. My buddy sells cars. Let me check and see what he thinks it will do. I will let you know.
  17. Looking for possible partner for Chamber of Commerce Bass Tourney this Sat. My partner is unavailable and was curious if someone here would like to be my partner? Entry fee is $120 which we could split and we could split gas. Got a chance to win a boat! If someone is interested send me a PM. Thanks.
  18. Shiloh Museum in Springdale has a bunch of Beaver lake stuff I am told.
  19. Where can i get some of those hooks in brown like that? Cant find any locally
  20. That is why I went yesterday. Had a gut feeling it was gonna be a good day with those warm days and a cold front moving in. I gaurantee if I could have fished all day I could have caught 100. A bite on dam near every cast. They were in the same depth and cover everywhere I went. Bigger ones came off of steeper pockets about same depth.
  21. Really Good unless wind was blowing or Pollen was on top of the water.
  22. Put in at Rocky Branch about 2:30 and fished til dark. Absolutley tore em up. Caught several bedding fish when the sun was high with little wind. After the wind kicked up I made a run to north Clifty area trying to find clearer water and less wind. Not much luck there as far as wind goes. I took the depth where i was catching the bedding fish and applied that everywhere else. About 3-6 ft of water using a Jika Rig and a 4 inch wat/candy lizard. Caught 30-40 LM and K. Not a lot of size. I would say best 5 went 10-12lbs. Any where in that depth range around a lay down or brush and you were gonna get a bite or a fish. Numbers wise my best day of bass fishing on the Beav. Had a great time.
  23. Geez. That is awesome. Guess this proves i really dont have a clue what im doin:-) I have never had a day like that.
