  1. Lunker City had the Pudgie but it seems to be dced
  2. I'm sure Barlows has a mold
  3. Lure parts online has brand name
  4. I bet they still are. I know I have some somewhere in storage AND Bass Pro has Offshore Angler Stinger Tail Grubs. Same thing.
  5. Take a look at the maps that Phil has provided.
  6. Yep, 1/32 oz is not uncommon for me to fish
  7. I want the smallest diameter I feel comfortable with. I want the line to affect the bait less. I want max casting distance. I want the current not to grab the line anymore than I can help You could have gone up to 12 lb to get more diameter, but you've found an option you are happy with.
  8. I've fished three events (2 BASS and one FLW) as a co-angler. I've fished with one guy that I wouldn't want to fish with again. I get that they have a lot more skin in the game and that their focus is for them to catch fish. They are by in large not focused on me catching fish. They sure as heck focused on whatever advantage they can gain by me catching fish though. If I find a better option to catch one, they will have that bait tied on before you can get your keeper in the live well. I caught fish behind every Pro I have fished with. None did anything to prevent me from catching fish, but none of them specifically set me up to catch a fish either.

    Who knew?

When they looked into it and both were legal to purchase a handgun, they should have backed off. Believe me, if they had ever asked me to leave their store, I would NEVER ever be back for any reason at all.
  10. Poor Vernon. PTSD from split rings and treble hook replacement.
  11. It's good stuff. It might be that they are bailing on that glowe blue stuff. I've got bulk spools of 4,6,8,10, and 12. But it doesn't last forever. I have 300 yard spools for leader material. I recently got 300 yards of the glow worm yellow in 8 lb for jig pole fishing. Tackle Warehouse usually has a big sale on it in the Fall. That is when I usually buy my bulk spools.
  12. The weather was absolutely beautiful this morning, but I knew what was coming. kinda a metaphor for life in a way. the severe weather is sliding down our way. I wish it would spend itself before it gets here, but that's unlikely. Brutal cold following severe weather as well. That's just insult on top of injury. I prefer the stable weather of Fall to the unstable weather of Spring
  13. It's a copolymer
  14. P Line CX Premium is some of the thinnest line available on a lb test basis. That's gonna bum me out if it disappears from the market place

Geez Whiz Charlie, I was trying to leave square bill talk alone.

The RK is. A better bait in 6-10 foot of water. The Wart is better in < 6 foot of water.

Completely unnecessary as well. Wal Mart works well enough shallow and RK's are great for the deeper stuff.
  18. Props to the dedicated knucklehead that did the research buttttttttttttt I would like him to have used 12 lb line instead of 8 lb and I would like to have measured stretch under various weights. im not sure of the mechanics of it, but fluorocarbon is more sensitive than mono. I thought it might be that fluorocarbon stretches less under light loads like a lure weight and that the angle to the lure is more direct than than the angle when using mono.
  19. I think the CX Premium is still widely available.
  20. Lol, and I thought I hopped around more than necessary. If you ran all the way to music, your friend was sore from having to run rolling troughs on the big turns. I stayed above Pontiac all day.
  21. I'd guess that the dam area of Stockton was a no fly zone yesterday
  22. 6 foot waves are no joke. I don't want to ever be in that again. I'd rather my Cougar stayed on the right side of the surface.
  23. Water temps around 55 most places. Some as warm as 57.9 and some as cool as 53.9, but those were wind driven. I fished with Kris Nault who I met thru Jigfest. He's a very good fishermen. We put about 40 in the boat with one being a 16 inch walleye. I had one LM bass about 10 inches and one tiny spotted bass, but other than that every fish was over 12 inches. our best 5 were probably 16 lbs or so. I was hopping and jumping all over giving Kris my Potoniac tour. So we fished a lot of different stuff and I used a lot of different baits. I caught fish on 13 different lures and Kris used slightly different stuff than me to catch his fish. its really close.
  24. I fished BSL with Kris Nault. We caught about 40 with a bunch of really nice ones. The wind was stupid bad.
