  1. Nice Work Jeff
  2. I have had VERY minimal success with artificial lures on yellow bass. i have caught a very few on 1 inch Gulp Minnows. I really suggest natural baits.
  3. I remember having wadable water
  4. Good Luck with the relocation efforts. Longear Sunfish and Spotted Bass can be impossible to avoid.
  5. Blasphemy
  6. I’m a numbers guy, but I expect 2020 to be more about new experiences. I have a trip lined up for Mexico, hoping for a New England trip, hoping for Carp on the fly in Michigan, trying for a Sandhills Nebraska Trip, and still trying to line up a Venice bass fishing trip. My man Marty is making me want to wave the fairy wand more. I intend to fish the Spring River in OK. I’m hoping for a follow up Redear trip with Quillback. I’d like to get Waldo on the stretch of the White above Eureka Springs. Waldo also needs to ply the waters of the Strawberry River. I’m going to try for 10 states fished this year. And let’s try for 10 Benjamin’s and 20 Fifty Burgers so let’s say modest numbers like 3000 total fish a Great Big number of fish species caught like say 75 total species. I want 13 lifers in that mix. Including an American Eel which I failed to do in 2019. pics or it didn’t happen right. What are you hoping for in 2020?
  7. I saw some heavy equipment in there Saturday and wondered what was going.
  8. I have a trip book with the guide service you recommended. Thanks Pete !
  9. I had a Great Spring Trip with cajunangler. I had a Great trip to Langara in July. A fantastic trip with Johns Folly in October. Venice Trip didn’t pan out. I didn’t get in my float trips. 3000 fish isn’t gonna happen.; I’m still hoping for as many > 2800 as I can get. I will get to 1000 trout (I think). i only fished in 5 states. I only got 7 lifers, but I did get to 61 species (so far). I fished a lot and I fished with a lot of different ppl. I wish I had fished more of course. Looking forward to the 2020 Goals Thread
  10. I’d love to Phil, BUT I’m going to be out of the country. Mexico.
  11. I love me some Big Creek
  12. Quillback has more pics. I added another 43 fish today, but I didn’t take a single pic. Waldo has a bad day. His motored konked out on Norfork. Hopefully, It will be a minor fix.
  13. One of a half dozen jerkbait fish. I missed a few more.
  14. Zig Jig Brown
  15. Little Red Fisherman has abused me with a jerk bait enough times that I decided to throw it some. Browns and Bows bit often. I have some pics, but I’m blocked for the moment.
  16. We had several SuperSized Bows. This one was 20 1/4.
  17. Quillback and I did pretty well. We launched into the crazy water at Wildcat. They reduced flow at some point and most of the leaf litter went away. I had scouted the River last Saturday and had found a few key areas. The fish were still there yesterday. We had numbers and size and variety. Jeff is Super to fish with. Catches his share and is Happy to be out there. I am pretty jealous of his sucker though.
  18. Thanks Pete! BTW PM me if you have a guide in Cozumel that you would suggest.
  19. Look, conditions are significantly less safe than normal. I’m in an awkward spot IF I recommend an area and guys sink a boat there, I’m gonna feel terrible. If I don’t advise against stuff and ppl sink their boat, I’m gonna feel terrible. I’m simply going to say what I would or would not feel comfortable doing and you guys roll the dice as you see fit. I will say that most ppl are staying off the River.
  20. No Sir, somehow I left out “White Hole”
  21. Be advised, at the current generation levels, the White Hole boat ramp and areas of the parking lot are flooded out. I won’t launch there nor recommend that anyone else do so either.
  22. I was on the river last Saturday. No issues. A little more water and the river is a 1 1/2 foot higher. So, be cautious and stay alert, but not a deal breaker.
  23. It should be more about the fellowship, but the fishing doesn’t have to be bad.
