If you are throwing a SB in the right places, it doesnt take long to get bit. Try a color and swap out in 30 minutes if it doesn't get bit or change locations. Right bait in right place gets bit early and often. The fish are seeing it.
I've had cats that would follow me around the yard and fall at my feet and roll on the ground. I have a cat now that runs to meet and greet when I pull up after work. He doesn't want anything more than to say hello.
Sure. They want to be fed and yes they like to be warm and dry, but cats can be affectionate as well as dogs.
JF we can get you a Chain Pickeral on our Current River trip. No problem. 11 pt is a sure thing as well. You just need to throw a jerkbait in backwater areas long enough and its a done deal.
I'd love to have a Corgi and I'd love to have a Maine Coon Cat, but with so many wonderful animals that need a home, I doubt I'll live long enough to get around to owning either one. We'll keep taking in the hard luck storys that find their way into our lives.
There is not a chance in hades that I would ever buy one of those. I'd rather never , ever know whjat the correct date was than buty that thing AND I'm mostly ok with Ike.
The Chiefs are CLEARLY the better team. The NFL is funny though ; you never really know what's gonna happen. The Chiefs have a punchers chance to get to "The Big Game". Once there, clearly anything can happen.
With all the good looking Lab mixes that are available for little or no cost (up front anyway), I wonder why you are gonna go with a dog from a breeder. Just curious.
I know Boss. It was a golden opportunity that I can't take advantage of.
My Dad is in town. He can not tolerate the cold anymore and I didn't dare take a chance getting him sick by dragging him out on the river. I also didn't want to leave him at the house while I went fishing. So just visiting, No Fishing.
Those are good ideas and It's on my radar. I also have some riffles in mind that I want to swing a scud or sowbug thru as well. Just have to bide my time a bit.
I want to do an all day trip in yaks from QP to the Confluence.i need a float buddy.
I frequently fish in weather that many would describe as horrible, but I generally see it as uncomfortable. I try to not fish on days where the weather is genuinely UNSAFE to be out in.
I continue to get geared up and mentally ready.
I bought some 7X and 8X tippet today. I learned to tie the Davy knot. I've been practicing my Figure 8 knot and arbor knot. I bought some larger tippet rings and a doohickey to hold little tiny BS flys while tying them to tippet.
Anxious to get out and use it.
