Phil, look at a Center console boat with a front and rear elevated deck. I would think that G3 or War Eagle offer that. I would want 18 foot. a 20 foot Supreme fishes three like nobody's business, but you asked about Al++.

Punch baits are funny. Basically any piece o crap that gets thru the ceiling and drops in front of a fish gets whacked. Guys used to use centipedes as punch baits. The Gambler BB craw has been around how long?

Bring It ! I can catch em on Bull at 680. It starts to make it tough to launch the Bass Cat at some point though.

I understand how you feel Dave, BUT Strike King and Luck E Strike have poached a LOT of lure designs as well. It doesn't make it ok that Zoom is doing it though. Other companies are also developing that raised edge desigh to force more flutter. Keitech has one. I really try to stick with the company that brings the better mousetrap to the market. I have a bunch of the original Sluggos, BUT Mister Twister really did improve things by having a 5 inch bait that throws better and had the slot in the back which made it easier to get a hookset and easier to rig. I still prefer the Senkos to the other baits of that design. I had to break down and get Barlows 3 inch rat tails because the 3 inch Senkos are just too fragile. I can easily fish thru a 20 bait bag in a couple of hours and catch maybe 20 fish on them instead of catching 5 fish or more per bait on the Barlows.

Seriously, I've been fishing jig worms for > 30 years. And soft plastics on lead heals for > 40 years. You'd think I'd be better at it by now.

I fish a wide variety of soft plastics on a wide variety of lead heads. They each have their charms or I wouldn't keep fishing them. Everyone is free to define a Ned rig anyway they want, but I have a more narrow definition of a Ned rig than some apparently.

They had the control room repaired very quickly and were back to normal operations in almost no time at all. They will be able to run whatever water they decide to run.

Don't worry about it Super Dave, I'll hate enough for both of us. I CAN NOT understand why fishery management can't be part of the decision making process. The years that spawns are made less successful by the unnecessarily rapid reduction of the water level drive me crazy. It also aggravates the fool out of me that a system to allow fish to work around the lock and dams is not a consideration at all. They ruined a great striper fishery on the Red River with the lock and dams.

I know some would tell you to use a treble hook with lead molded onto it during season of course, I would say drift night crawlers or corn to them amd see what happens.

Lol, I doubt KVD quit throwing SB's when SK started making squarebills. Lot's of ways to skin a cat. Not all the fish are doing the same thing at any given time. I try to find a way to catch em that gives me a chance to catch a bunch AND is a way I enjoy fishing. Throwing an A rig is NOT a way I enjoy fishing, but I have done so and will do so again.

I've enjoyed a lot of fishing success since moving up here. One of the main reasons for my success is that I learned an important lesson at a young age from one of my Dad's best fishing buddies, Dallas Cooper. Dallas really believed in fishing where they were biting rather than going to a place where the bite was off and banging your head against a wall. I have expanded this theorum to be fish for whats biting and where they are biting. I like to fish for everything and I like to fish everywhere. I dont struggle to catch bass early on the lakes because I would rather spend my time catching the fool out of Rainbow trout on the White River. I don't struggle on the lakes in the heat of summer because I own kayaks and a canoe. I don't struggle on the creeks when the water gets cold in late fall because I go back to the lake and bass fish. I never get to fish as much as I want to, but I always have a good bite that needs to be exploited. Stay flexible.

Table Rock is just about as good as it gets when the water is up on the picnic tables and in the trees in springtime. All the kraken that see 1000 baits a day get stupid and eat big ole spinnerbaits. Its a special deal. I hate on the COE as much as anybody, but the lakes are managed for flood control first and everything else a very distant second. I love high water in springtime, but I understand why they err on the side of caution.

Caddis season is the best time for dry flys on the White, well that and hopper season. Hoppers hardly count though. Throwing hoppers is like throwing down double cheeseburgers in front of really hungry people. Presentation doesn't matter all that much.

Floored me too, but it likely isn't likely the End of the BassCat world. The same management team is going to stay in place and the plant stays in town. Guys will retire in due course of time. It has been a family affair for a long, long time. There may be personal reasons that they wanted to cash out to spend some time smelling the roses while their health allows for it.

IN ALL SERIOUSNESS, They sell a lot of shad darts and stuff like that for the shad runs on the East Coast. I'd love to go fish those shad runs some day.

I've fished the rg that shall be un-named on the Current river in high flow areas with great success. I fish it the way I would fish any other jig in current. Down and across.
