I used them in the Army. Very portable & easy to set up if the trees are available. Use a poncho over a rope to make a rain/dew cover (two sticks across each end to make a tent over it). You kinda have to learn how to ride them because they will dump you out. Also do not use in cool weather because the air below you will frost your butt. Try at home first. Good luck & have fun.

Wal-mart sells tennis racket wraps that would increase size & they are non-slip material. Just a thought. -

I have had & some times raised Labs since 1973. Still have one today. I say big, wide head & all BLACK. Good luck with your search & do not buy the first one you see (they are all too cute at that time).

I have read that inflate type pfd's some times do not work in cold temps. I use the old type when duck hunting. Just something to check out. -

Cassoulet is another one of those French farm wife recipes that once you take the French words out, sounds really good. Duck, sausage, meat, tomatoes, stock, beans, herbs - all slow cooked. Thanks - kinda like a stew.
