  1. At my house on top of the hill it was reading -12, by the time I got to the HWY at the far bottom of the hill it dropped to 18 and waffled around from -20 to about -13 depending on if I was at bottom of a frost holler or up on top of a hill. Whatever it was cold. At least we will get more snow tonight so there is that.
  2. I didn't want to melt the cover on the cold frame by building a fire to thaw the ground so I am gonna wait. I did throw some seed in it way back in December and closed the lid, didnt pay much attention to it, should have though I had a heck of a crop of lettuce in it already. Got it mostly cleaned out before Canada came south for a while.
  3. They are doing rolling blackouts in spfld too according to City Uilities.
  4. I remember a lot of cold winters, the closest we came to knowing what the temp was, was an old thermometer on the outside of the window. Didn't really matter chores had to be done anyway hearing that it was below zero just made yiu feel colder. We used to get a big snow followed by a week or so of sub zero temps, I always piled the snow I had to move out of the driveway and buried the well house and the yard hydrants so they didn't freeze. Last 20 years or so, winter hasn't amounted to much, which I am totally OK with.
  5. I found Oneshots alternate Identity. You ain't bad as a ginger!
  6. The second one is what they are calling a booster. It us the exact same shot, first one supposed to get you to around 50% protected the second boosts it into the 90s, which is phenomenal compared to say a flu vaccine. I admit to not being very good at protecting myself, told my daughter that I would take my dam chances and encourage my grandson to visit anytime and for as long as I can keep him. Us getting the vaccine is making her feel better though.
  7. That's why kids bounce, stretch, and heal fast. About 2 years later she made a head long dive and crashed the headboard of the bed, got a few more in almost the same place. She was fearless, LOL. My son wouldn't have said a word, he would have tried to hide it by wearing a hat until it healed. Kids, make ya old before your time, but nothing better than kids.
  8. I used to do that with my kids when they were little. One day my daughter who was 5 I think made a flying leap assuming I was ready, she bounced off and into the old console type tv, we then made a trip to spfld in weather about like it is now to get some stitches, and an ice cream cone. Still remember the dr. Coming in with a couple BIG guys to hold her down, they didn't stay long, she was way more worried about the ice cream cone and the balloon the nurse promised her. Too bad the drunk guy in the adjacent area was not as quiet and brave.
  9. My wife had the Moderna, got second one the other day, less effects that the first she said. I got the Pfizer and will get the second shot next week, already planning my whining and laying around. I am good at it.
  10. I have hooked seviral while walleye fishing but only landed a couole smallish ones. Usually ends with me cussing them and out a crankbait. Sure can be fun for a few moments though.
  11. The phrase "youre an a@$hole, go shoot something" seems to ring a bell for me. May have heard it at home before.
  12. Never fished for a muskie in my life, but sure have been on and around those docks many times.
  13. I recognize that location.
  14. Maybe Cliff Claven from Cheers. 😲
  15. They figure you are reliabe, once someone drops you off at work you can't run away, just toss you a bottle of water and some biscuits occasionally and you are good to go.
  16. Short version, TB is a great team, with a great O and D line, KC was beat up, and had a couole backups in the game and Mahomes had a broken toe. But TB simply outplayed KC, Brady love him or hate him didn't get all those SB rings by being a so so QB. KC will be back.
  17. It's not over yet!
  18. Lies, pure lies. Go south to fish, only the White River chain has any fish left.
  19. The majority of the commercials I wasnt even sure what was being advertices for, guess I am probably not their target audience.
  20. http://www.hodgdonreloading.com They have 6.5 Creedmoor data.
  21. I admit I was sceptical of using the casting allloy, ole Larry Potterfield made it look way too easy in his video. But he was right, if ever have it happen again I will use it.
  22. Well the link didn't quite work, go to the video under the pic in the link.
  23. Should any of you be so u fortunate as to have a case head completely separate upon firing leaving the body of the case stuck in the chamber I learned a great trick. Wish I had learned it 3 months ago, that's how long i have been trying and failing to remove a stuck case body from a Ruger 77/22H .22 Hornet. Took 2 days for the box to get here from Midway, 15 minutes to get everything set up, a couple hours to get up the nerve and maybe 5 minutes to melt, pour and knock it out. Tomorrow will see how much damage I did to the chamber trying to get it out before this. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1007021082?pid=462291
  24. That individual should have immediately been required to leave the building, by a supervisor. CDC guidelines do not use only positive COVID test, 15 minutes cumulative exposure unmasked over I believe 48 hrs, for reccomend ed quarantine.
  25. The quarantine is usually 14 days from exposure, usually take 4 to 5 days from exposure to test positive but most health depth are pretty strict on the quarantine time and schools simply adopt the health dept, and CDC guidelines, if for no other reason than liability. Although also they say only quarantine if within 6 feet for 15 minutes total time unmasked, i hink that is the general rule. My wife is a school nurse a the issue of having have someone home with them is definitely a problem. Most younger parents are working so you end up with a grandparent who is usually in a higher risk group.
