  1. Congrats on the win! Big sac is producing much better quality for me as well.
  2. C-rig lizard or baby brush hog. I catch fish on almost year round. Or split shot green pumpkin fish doctor if really tuff. Fish 8-20fow and you'll get bit!
  3. In back half of Price branch.
  4. Slime is all over the lake, if you let your jig hit bottom you'll be in the slime. Have been fighting it with c-rig last two weeks. It's in big and little sac and sons, haven't fish dam area yet.
  5. Put in at 10 and started with c-rig lizard on points and swings, caught over 20 with only 4 keeps. Hit same type areas for crappie from Adams to high point area with 1/6 oz jig red head chartreuse jig and caught tons of shorts in 4-15fow. Fish were just barely breathing on jig, caught lots watching line bump. Was tuff to find keepers, but eked out 9. Blue bird skies made it tuff. Still had fun and enjoyed the day on the water. I'll get em next time!! Tight lines and CPR
  6. Gotcha, interesting no keeper black crappie.
  7. Great job! Looks like some are post spawn. I had several post spawn fish yesterday.
  8. CPR all bass!!!! I never have or ever will eat a bass! And have never bed fished! I catch one put in live well take photo and release right away!
  9. I keep it simple. I use only two colors, crystal shad in clear waters and shartruse in off colored. Red head 1/6 oz or 1/8 jig. Same set up on road runner. Key is finding fish
  10. Gotta love a top water bite, great job!
  11. In clear water I've always used a translucent color, watermelon red or watermelon candy works best for me
  12. Congrats! That's a super dandy!
  13. Put in at Mutton at 8:30 water temperature 59.3 at ramp and warmest I found all day 60.9. Started bass fishing with c-rig watermelon/red lizard on mainlake and secondary points in 8-15 fow and game on! Tons of bucks are staging and eating big time. Caught over 30 with 7 keeps. Tried fishing deeper for females but still caught mostly males. Changed over to crappie and struggled to find any shallow. Finally found some in 8-12 fow on 1/6 oz crystal shad jig with red head in the middle of spawning pockets and on channel banks. Fish are scattered and I covered a lot of water. Ended up with 12 keeps and two bonus eyes. Only one short crappie all day. Stayed in Big sac all day, had fun, beautiful day! Tight lines and CPR
  14. No cornbread?
  15. Yes big jump from last Wednesday, 57.5 warmest I found point 5 area. Thanks
  16. Looks yummy, I'll take a plate lol.
  17. Headed to lake in the morning and was wondering if anyone has been mile long bridge area to dam area and what surface temps are?
  18. Great results, I think you should talk during your videos, would add so much more!
  19. That's a dandy! My personal best on the rock 10.24 in 96 late March.
  20. 4 is correct, also all 12 males
  21. Put in at Mutton Creek at 8:30 and tried way up Mutton water temp got colder as I idled back 56.3. Caught a few little bass on crappie jig. Decided to run up Sons and seen lots of boats all of which crappie fishing. Went to some spawning pockets and found 58.7- 59.8 water. Used 1/6 oz crystal shad with red head, found fish in 8- 10 fow, but scattered. Never caught two in same place. Fished for them for 3 hours and ended with 12 and a 16in eye. Spend rest of day bass fishing. Ended up with 24 and 2 keeps all on c-rig lizard. Mostly 14in males in 6-15 fow. Fun day. Tight lines and CPR
  22. Great results and thanks for the pics!
  23. I use a 1/2 oz barrel weight and a 3ft leader with no beads, the leader can freely slip through, easier to feel the bites.
  24. Understand, most anglers use what they have to most confidence in myself included. I remember when football jig came out and would try and try then give up and put it down. Then finally it clicked and and now I use it every trip with lots of confidence. I've always said best bait in your box is the one you have the most confidence in because you'll fish it the best.
  25. No c- rig lizard fish?
