Man, with a setup like that you'd think you did this for a living or something......🙄 As a longtime toy lover I'm beyond jealous!
-
I'll be 68 in March and I think I hear voices but can't really remember for sure.🙄 What was the question?

I also use 'em for grubs and small swimbaits when fishing around cover as they seldom hangup and when they do I can almost always shake 'em free. I've been tossing his jigs exclusively for over four years now and I'll bet I could count the number that I've lost on one hand. I'll wear the paint off the heads and even lose the skirt (on the jigs) before I'll lose one to a break off. And they ARE great for crappie as you can fish the heaviest of cover with lots of confidence. On the recommendation of RPS I purchased some Finatic braid (10 lb.) early last year and I've come to really like the combination of Bo's heads and the Finatic line. On most trips I'll give a couple of Bo's heads away to guys I get to talking to on the dock and everyone that's tried them has been amazed at how weedless they are. And I wouldn't at all mind if Bo started making those crappie heads in 1/16 and 1/4 oz. either!

Pretty fish Dutch! I love how the colors seem to pop a little more in colder water. Although I don't really care that much for colder water in general.......🥶
-
For Neds I think Bo's NuTech crappie jig head is pretty dang good too and about impossible to lose due to hangups.

I think a refresher class might be of benefit. 😢 Sad here......

All y'all could use a little sensitivity training........🤨

I'm glad that not catching fish doesn't really bother me that much anymore. Seein's I'm on the fixed income these days the only way I can afford the Livescope is to sell the boat! Oh well, I had a pretty good run of blowin' money on stuff that most others couldn't afford for quite a few years. Y'alls turn now. Fun reading about it though. Although there still is that blood bank deal.....

And whut up with the wreck? Six weeks don't sound like no fender bender or shopping cart deal. You guys OK?
-
and thinking it's a big, fat crappie............
-
Man that place if full of 'em. I used to catch thirty or forty a day over there on a little red and white Roadrunner while crappie fishing. Used to drive me nuts!
-
Good for you! How much 100 MPH tape did it take to secure it to the deck?🤣
-
Holy cats! By my calculations that's $7000 if I go all in! How's a guy gonna beat that deal? May be a Livescope in my future!

Me too! I guess my point isn't to minimize the effect that the virus has had on some but rather to illustrate that it also isn't the doom and gloom end of the world scenario that the news media tries to make it out to be. The fact that so many are attempting to control and manipulate people through fear and untruths is way scarier to me.

Back in mid to late October all six members of our immediate family tested positive within a four day period. Two of us in our house and four at my brothers. All of our symptoms were about the same in that it was like having a cold and not a very bad one at that. Lasted six to eight days. Typical flu/cold stuff - body aches, chills, cough, headache, etc. What was weird though is hardly any of the symptoms were at the same time like with a typical flu or cold and they were so mild as to feel more like the onset of getting sick than actually being sick. One day we'd have some chills, the next day a few body aches, then a headache, etc. But they were never severe. Had low energy and felt a little rundown for a couple days so we all just stayed inside and rested up. The most severe symptom for all of us (but again it was more of an annoyance than actually severe) was the sensation of a sinus headache. I had it for three days behind my right eye and then it switched to the left and lasted two more days. A couple of times I also had the feeling that I was running a fever but my temperature was actually 97.4. Also had an unproductive cough off and on and a little tightness in the chest but again it was like coming down with something but never really getting it. We all tended to agree that the worst of it was the loss of taste and smell as that was crazy. My brother couldn't taste or smell anything for over two weeks although it was only a few days for me. He actually spilled gasoline on his hands one day and couldn't smell it at all. When my sense of smell started to come back EVERYTHING smelled like bacon for a couple of days. Actually kind of enjoyed that part...... We also know of another ten to twelve friends or acquaintances that have gotten it and their symptoms are/were nearly identical. Personally, I'll take whatever version of Covid that we all had over the "normal" flu or cold any day and I'm 68, fat, eat crappy, drink too much, have COPD and have had pneumonia four times. Don't believe everything you hear and see on TV.

Pelagic? How can a guy not love a well read boat mechanic!
-
Is that how you tell when you're "done" too?🤔
-
Not meaning to be critical and I sure hope that it works out for you. Just an observation as I appreciate you and others sharing so much great information as all this stuff is over my head! Good luck and anxious to hear how it goes.

Am I missing something? The description in that ebay link says the battery is "Lithium Ion" not lithium "iron". Reviews below the item are a little shaky and it doesn't seem to play well in the cold.

Hmmm. And Van Dam said that the turnover should be complete prior to the Big Bass Bash? Shows how much that hack knows!
-
Is it gonna be on that northwest corner where all the new construction is going on? Always wondered why they left their previous location at that intersection on the northeast corner but apparently that was all part of a "plan" I guess? Getting in and out of their current spot up on the hill is a nightmare - I can't even imagine doing it pulling a boat.

I've been buying it in bulk from West Branson Marine. Can't remember exactly what I paid but at the time it was by far the cheapest I'd seen it anywhere. Bought five gallons a year ago in May and that's where I plan to go back to next spring.

Too bad nowadays that that's all it is too is a dream......🤔

Oh geez - nothing to apologize for! I know your story all too well and I don’t mean the stones. I lived that crap almost every single day for over thirty years. Mind boggling most times. It’s like could you do it stupider if you tried? Doubtful. Get well buddy! And I’ll see what I can do about that rain although I gotta be careful.......

Bobby you pretty much provided the world a snapshot of my entire career working in the Federal Government. I don't know how many times I said to staff and supervisors, "And you guys wonder why everybody thinks we're a bunch of idiots?" As you alluded to, the single source justification is one of the all-time nightmares of a discerning fed employee. The other guys just didn't care and put it out for bid regardless. As for whether or not I was one of the "good ones" I can't say for sure but I promise I tried harder than most to do the right thing but, man, you talk about being outnumbered and outgunned. My honesty and outspokenness in trying to do the right thing probably cost me many thousands of dollars over the years in promotions because I wasn't very good at just playing the game and going along. That being said I still stand by previous comments I've made on this site about the majority of the people at the COE. I still say that group had more of the good guys than any other branch I served in and it wasn't close. The problems at the COE always came from above and usually way above. And as is typical of the government the higher above the worse the guidance got. I am retired by the way - seven years this past March and I sure don't miss it. Sorry about the kidney stone deal😬. Hope you're better soon and mom will let you go back out and play with the new boat!
