Dang guys. My apologies. I never intended to leave behind THAT big of a mess. You'd have thought I actually did stay an extra week. Hope the forecasted weekend monsoon spares you. However, since I'm now home the odds are the Kansas City area gets forty days and forty nights.☔ Sorry Dave...........

Yeah - “warmed up” to about ten degrees below “normal”. With the clouds and that north wind it didn’t feel that warm. At least not on the golf course. Tired of this “could be worse” deal.

Vernon wishes he could have stayed another month but alas he's now home where it too is 55 degrees, cloudy with a 20 mph north wind. Again, still and always........

Vernon IS back in Kansas! Whatever y'all got goin' on down there now you be bringin' on yourselves! Now I DID leave a whole bunch of extra water behind but that's just part of what I do...... And as for the Goretex, that stuff is WAY too expensive to be taking outside in bad weather and gettin' all wet☔.

For those of you that might still question whether or not I truly have all the shots I would offer only that now that the rain has about stopped the wind is blowing about 30 mph! Looking out the window at some pretty impressive rollers.......🤦♂️

What can I say - it’s a gift. Still sitting here watching the last day go up in smoke. That makes three. This incessant downpour is bad enough but homey ain’t gonna play with this lightning.

You’re in luck! We’re heading home tomorrow morning so I’m sure conditions will improve dramatically once we’ve cleared downrange. Consider today just a little going away gift to remember us by😉. Kinda curious what the total rainfall since last Thursday has been as well as the median daily temperatures. Personally, we think this week just might represent some of our finest work - highlighted by Monday and Tuesday! As for the fishing we’re the last two guys you should ask!

Between the rain, fog and blowing mist visibility is so bad we can’t even see um’ from here but them’s some tuff ol’ boys if you ask me. This “spring” trip is a highlight of our year and we’re dying to get out there but there just ain’t no way in this stuff. Hopefully, the remaining three days will enable us to salvage what’s left!
