  1. I just got it too. Frustrating for sure.
  2. Awesome report. Man, I’d like to get down and fish table rock sometime. I haven’t done much table rock fishing for quite a few years. I miss that place. Of course, most of my experience on that lake is out of cape fair.
  3. That video had me smiling the entire time! What an amazing day that must have been for James and for Paul. Not to mention everyone on the street and in the pup that got to share in the experience. Just WOW!
  4. I would like to offer my full endorsement for fishinwrench. He has taken good care of me in the past.
  5. Welcome back to the fishing community!
  6. What about Pomme de Terre? Any info on that lake? Stockton? I asked the water patrol about Pomme and they didn’t say anything at all about any of this. Just wondering if it applies there too.
  7. Forgive my L7 squareness. 🙃◾
  8. Dang! So many flavors to choose from and all I can taste in this thread is salt. So salty! Competition or not, let’s all get out there and Whack ‘em.
  9. Interesting. Any idea where someone can find more information about that other than on the webboutdoors.com website? Specifically, the maps, but for other lakes?
  10. The dock at harbor marina at pomme de terre has a sign like that too. I was fishing there during a tournament back in May and they guy came out and gave me all kinds of grief. He threatened to call the water patrol on me. I was pretty sure that he couldn’t say where I could or couldn’t have my boat and where I could or couldn’t fish as long as I wasn’t on his dock, but I was getting ready to leave anyway. So I left. Later that week I called the water patrol to see what they had to say about it and they confirmed what I already thought I knew. They can control who gets on their dock, but they cannot regulate who fishes around their dock. As long as you are in public waters, you are good. Call the water patrol to confirm if you wish.
  11. Also, check out that sweet sticker on the console windshield. 😎
  12. Tell me more about how this experticity (now called expert voice) works. You’ve had good experiences with them?
  13. With the relief from the super hot temperatures, we went out for a little while this afternoon and soaked a few nightcrawlers under a bobber and caught a few bluegill. Boy, the fishing attention span of a 3 year old is short. Lol. We had a blast though. I brought some snacks and toys to keep her occupied for when she lost interest in fishing. We drove the boat around a little which she loved and she also enjoyed getting her first lessons on how to dipnet a fish. She (with her daddy’s help) dipped this 4 pounder and this 2.5. She really thought that was something! I think she caught the bug. She really enjoyed getting out there today. I can’t wait to get her out there again.
  14. I always want to get a used vehicle to save some money, but almost everything I’ve had has been a new car that I drive until the wheels fall off. It also gives me peace of mind that it has been taken care of properly. It is expensive to buy new, but I try to get every bit of value out of a car.
  15. I have Native sunglasses that I really like. Natives are owned by Costa, but are a lower line. They are still pretty good sunglasses. I’ve had mine since 2013 and I’m about to find out how their warranty works. I noticed a crack in the frames and I’m getting ready to send them in for replacement.
  16. I can imagine that they’ll get over it. $$$$$ lol
  17. Maybe. I think it is no wake during certain times, but I don’t know what those times are.
  18. I saw the WP, with lights on, pulled up next to a bass boat by the grand glaize bridge yesterday evening. I can’t imagine why though.
  19. I heard about it somewhere and just googled “trilene rebate”. It was the first or second hit.
  20. What are you guys thoughts on trilene mono? I’ve used it a lot for years and have been quite happy with it. Also, there is currently a rebate of $6 when you buy two spools.
  21. Man, I want one soooo bad. I just couldn’t afford it (at over twice the cost of what I paid) when the time came to replace my trolling motor this spring.
