Didn't see any beach. I think you have to go to Grand Isle for that. We ate them and they were excellent.

Fished for Reds in Nov, in Lafitte and in Venice. It was a blast and will do it again. Caught a bunch of Reds and Sheepshead even a few stingrays. Not sure how the bank fishing would be.

I think last years's winner caught his fish from the James River arm. Everybody needs to be fishing that arm. There are no fish anywhere else on the lake. Everyone needs to be bunched up in Cape Fair. See you all there.

We have to have quite a bit of stuff upholstered at my work and we always use Gibbs in Republic. They do a great job.

Just upgraded the graph on the front of my boat. I have an HDS 5 graph that I took off. It worked fine, just got a larger one. Don't ask what gen it is, I don't know. It was on my 09 Ranger, probably from day 1. I have the cables and transducer and transducer bracket for trolling motor. Don't have a mounting bracket, since it was flush mounted. I'd take $100 if anyone is interested. Might even take something in trade if you want to throw something out there. Nixa/Ozark area.

It's been that way for many years. Used to park my boat and walk the bank back there because I was sure there were nothing but lunkers back there. Never caught anything decent though.
