  1. I think we were going to put in at pb2 but open to suggestions
  2. Heading to Lake of the O next Tuesday for a day trip with my brother and friend. What's going on up there as far as the bass go? All I can find are crappie reports. We have never fished there, our friend did, about 30 years ago.
  3. Below powersite?
  4. Moonshine Beach and Table Rock State Park ramps are still open as well as cow creek
  5. Not above the mouth of Roark Creek. All hunting must be downstream of basically the landing.
  6. Table Rock is the money maker! It's all about $.
  7. Nah not at all. For work for me yes. But for play time it is good. Dont tell my boss I said that.
  8. I agree. The water is up in the parking lot of Indian point and since this rain the lake has started to come back up. And it was holding steady for a few hours.
  9. Turtles coming out of the mud?
  10. Howd you do??
  11. I as well on the Coeur D'Alene
  12. All rainbows east of california are non native. False. Oncorhynchus mykiss gairdneri
  13. Saw them on beds around docks last week
  14. When I had my drift boat we would head upstream to the cable with a 5 hp. We would anchor out of the current on the far side and fish streamers at night. We had a ball.
  15. How high is the lake still? Thinking of coming down and going flipping.
  16. Pete Wenners. Try googling that.
  17. You can launch at Indian Point for free
  18. I spent a few days in Lake George with my brother and a friend. We were there during the fall run, and I will probably never fish the dream stream again at that time of the year. The people there completely ruined that area for us. Eleven mile canyon is BEAUTIFUL but very technical. Fun little stream is Taryall Creek. Access is limited and the fish are not very big, but they were eager to take our flies and the scenery was classic Colorado. It was the highlight of the trip. On the way back to Lake George we saw a group of big horn rams, mule deer, and elk. If you have never been, you got to go up Pike's Peak. The fly shop in Woodland Park was very nice and the folks were helpful. The Tumbling Trout is a must stop if you are in Lake George. Michelle is a super nice lady.
  19. Phil- so the set up was a scud, with a split shot above it, with an indicator above and just casting and drifting? Beautiful fish.
  20. According to page 9 there's a few big rainbows around the upper end!
  21. Fished my heart out for this one, after looking at the pics, she was caught earlier this week by a guides client. I taped her at 32". I would like to say thank you to the old timers who have passed down a lot of hard earned wisdom to me and my friends in the parking lot and at the pavilion. This fish is a true testament to catch and release, and the work of the MDC. Triploid triploid triploid. Thank you to the guys with the tape and who walked down after I flashed my light and hollered for them!!
  22. Phil is there any info on the stocking of these as far as male to female ratio. I think Brett's fish was a female too. These big babes are sweet but I can not wait to see someone catch a big male with a big lower jaw.

  24. The best thing to do is have a game plan for all water levels. You can catch fish at all flows you just gotta figure out how. Once you do and you quit living by the flows you will be a happier man.
  25. I think I know but....
