The Helios, and that Hardy Nano, were not bad...Sage still kicks their asses IMO. Their new Sage 8-9wts feel like my 6wts in the hand. Will up to a new 9wt bf my next salt trip.

Winston has never mastered fast. Think I still have one. Sage, gets fast. I have slow rods too...Mostly bamboo. Tried to make a bamboo smallmouth rod that I would like...Several times. Given away to friends mostly. Will stick with 3-5wt bamboo under 8' if soft is the deal. I like the cannons in 9' 5wt and above...though the Sage SLT 9' 5wt is a pleasure to cast.

You like what you like. You hate that, so would never serve it to you. 4 adults and 5 kids where happy with a trout dinner, and that is all that matters.

Would love to dive into some flank steak fajitas. Ate well last weekend. Trout from Rockbridge one night on my dime, Big Bone on Ribeyes on my buddies dime next night. Joint effort for Taco's on Saturday. Wings last night. No pics. Different activity for 7 days.

We did kid's day at Montauk once. It was a zoo. Take them to Rockbridge or Westover.

Last night at Sunburst. Headed down the road to meet some friends in the AM. Great day tubing on Bull Shoals yesterday. Did the Mill Tour, and girls fished Rockbridge for about an hour today. 7 fish, got charged for 18lbs. Nice dinner there then will eat those trout fillets tomorrow.

Day 3 at Sunburst. Had a nice float Monday. SB to Landing. Gals had to up their game in the kayaks. Tons of riffle water now. Made 12 casts, caught nice little 13” bow. Just played safety boat mostly. Ran advance and eddied out to retrieve. They did well, got scared in a few spots but made it.

Took the kids tubing out of Theodosia today. Never wet a line. Water is crazy high. Great time was had.

If for a School program, write it up and put on the school website. Get the approval of school board, etc.Not bustin your balls. Lots of politics in the school districts. My Uncle Jimmy was top dog at Fox in Jeffco for many years.Do it right or your naive posterior will get fired.

Continuity test all connections if the box swaps don’t work. Easy on a boat. That’s what we did when we hard a hard gripe puzzle fork on an aircraft in the USMC. -
I am kind, but I can’t think of anything worse than life in prison w/o parole. A quick execution or delayed execution after 20 yrs let’s him off too easy. Let him experience“hell” on earth for the rest of his days. You can’t bank on hell after death, demand it here! When well BF, would be glad to float you. Will do the NFOW and St Francis next week.

What FW said, or go fish a nearby tributary creek were you can see them react to your flies. Can you cast 50’ w/o thinking about it? That helps.

Thinking bouliabase would be better for crappie fillet. Add some fresh crawfish, shrimp, fresh shellfish if you can find it. Would do fresh corn separately from the boil next time. Frozen corn has no flavor so would pitch that in the pot.
