IRS said the would start accepting efiled 1040’s at end of month. Not sure how fast they will process them this year. Used to be about 2-3 weeks on average. Missouri is usually quick to pay until they hit their budgeted payout number, then the slam on the brakes.
Took a drive today. Wind was brutal, but there were big tornado’s of Specks or Canada’s in West Alton this afternoon. All 200 yards from anything in muddy corn stubble. Smart birds. They flared when my truck stopped.
Banked in a turn with two for the wall, or five, or seven for a big high ceiling corner piece would be cool! I’m not into taxidermy but I would ask the taxidermist to see what would work best with the specimens provided.
We burned out a car when my bud Pat’s bro Dennis dropped a roach into a bag of fireworks in the back of Pat’s 1972 4 Dr Maverick. Beer was in the trunk and retrieved. That car was ugly and olive. Was a great show!
A wrist rocket and some big ball bearings will get you some rabbit stew really quick. 4th of July bottle rocket & Roman candle fights were always fun. The stuff we did for fun at 10-12 40 yrs ago. I would be in jail if I let my kids do the same.
Some leftover Katie’s in Rock Hill Pasta for lunch. They kill it there if you can get in with less than a 45 minute wait. Wife says she is gonna make some Chicken Pot Pie from scratch with her new pie plate & pie bird.
My commute home Friday was easy. We worked a half day and closed the office as soon as it started. Was a normal drive. Stopped at Hargrove’s for a couple hours (mile from the house) home early at 5pm with groceries in hand. My truck performed like a honey badger.
Ownership of land does not mean that you can do whatever you want. You have to be a good neighbor and maintain your land for your benefit, the benefit of others, and for those to come. You can always pump water out of the creek. Not much required. Hose, pump, car battery, and a charger.
