Kline still makes scissors. Got these off Amazon last month. They have a pretty good variety.

It’s really a small lake. About a hundred acres. Still an active sand dredging pit. Theirs like 4 of them back to back. Next week we’ll have my bosses boat. If your ever around Vidor TX look up Boomtown RV. Really good people.

Working down in Beaumont, and have the opportunity to fish a really nice RV park pond while I’m here. Caught this dandy yesterday. Close to a 6lber. Hopefully more to come!!

I used them for my wife’s SUV about 5 years ago, and haven’t had any issues.

Went to the lower end today, and only managed 2 on a spoon around the 86 bridge. It’s tough right now.

Neighbor and I decided to go down for a few hours yesterday evening. Caught 9 with 2 keepers. One LMG , and one smallmouth that went just over 4lbs. 6XD and a 12” worm did the trick. Off the water by 9:00pm. Water temp 90 degrees everywhere we went.

It was extremely busy, and very warm. Stayed around the mid lake and Aunts Creek.

Ended up coming in 4th place in the 4th period with a 3.86 LM. Weighed in 3 fish through out the day. Was a busy day on the lake!! Now I remember why I don’t fish on the weekend.

Hard to tell sense you can launch from anywhere. Probably saw around 50 people in the end at the final weight in.

Caught this dandy yesterday before the wind and rain came. Probably one of the biggest Crappie I’ve ever caught.

It was. Had 40 MPH. Winds here yesterday.

Finally got a day off, and had the opportunity to fish a private pond. Bass are on the bed down here. Saw lots of fish guarding fry. Caught this girl on a swim bait out in deeper water. Can tell she had already spawned out. Hopefully be able to hit Rayburn before I head home. Hope everyone is staying safe.

Finally home from a west coast workathon!! Took my step dad out for about 2 hours just to goof around. Fished for an hour with 1 apiece. Both being LM. Mine went 3-15. Couldn’t get stretch one more ounce out of her. Off to Texas tomorrow for about a month.
