OTF that was not A DIRTY HIT! I am tired of hearing people say it. Josey actually wouldn't have been hurt near as bad had some dumbass cheerleader not left the cardboard laying on the ground that helped him slide in to the cart. There was momentum by both players and the late shove was by no means a "Dirty Hit" as initial contact occurred before they were out of bounds. It is the Josey Story that has people more sympathetic to him and crying over it. Now for the Bowls National Championship; If this game was played within two weeks I would say Florida as we have seen many times the LONG time off effects teams and I think this plays in to Auburn much more than Florida. Auburn will come out play its game and Florida will have to settle down and adjust. Auburn should go up several TD's and this could demoralize Florida and force JW to make ill-advised passes. Florida tries to make it a shoot-out and that Plays to Auburns strength. Auburn should win this despite what Vegas thinks. Florida can win but it would take them coming out on their first drive and score and then stuffing Auburn showing they ( fl ) have no rust on them and has the momentum. I believe this to be the key for either team, the one who gets early momentum and shakes the month old rust off. Rose Bowl; Stanford will certainly have the crowd behind them and have played hard nosed football all year, Michigan is on the road I think Stanford is to much for the Spartans. Fiesta Bowl; Not much to be said here UCF shouldn't be here and Baylor is going to massacre them. Sugar Bowl; If you are a football fan this is the game to watch it could be billed so many way but simply Saban v Stoops! Though I would love it to have happened in 2010 this will be a game to watch, two of the best coaching minds in football going head to head. I would typically predict Alabama over most any team but not against a Stoops coached team. This is an exciting game and Is liable to remind many people of old-time smash-mouth football. I'm loving it. Orange Bowl; Ohio was proven lacking in their play against a top 10 ranked team. BUT Clemson is not ranked in the top 10 and they have lost to two ranked teams when they played them. Ohio should easily handle them. Best BCS games will be the NC and Sugar.

Randy, it sounds like an Ice Dam has formed. If the roof is not properly installed I.E. starter shingle, felt and drip edge it will build up and work its way in. The drip-edge needs to be installed, felt over the drip on eaves and under it on rakes the starter shingle needs to 3/4 inch overhang. Its difficult for me to tell you without looking at it what the problems is. I'll shoot you a PM.

Justin, its not so much the media though it is to a degree my concern is the NCAA and what they might do if somehow charges to get filed later. Taking nothing away from JW but if he falls my concern is the NCAA pulling a Penn on the school and their reasoning being "The school should have acted or who in the school knew and did nothing" Had you told me the NCAA would have dinged Penn State at one time I would hell I did say its criminal charges and they wouldn't go after an entire school and program no way. I was wrong they did and that is my fear here. I read the DA reports but that doesn't mean this girl and her family cant keep making it an issue until something is done in legally and then where does the NCAA go with it? As for Mizz they really looked like deer in headlights I have no clue why they dint stack the box and make Auburn earn the corners and throw more. But when they did go corners they made plays, the pass game might have been their weakness but we will never know as Mizz didn't make it an issue. Mizz did a great job getting there but seemed to fall apart could it have been jitters? could it have been inexperience? or could it just been bad game plan an unwilling to take serious risk? We will never know.

I will say this I do not know if Florida would have won last night without JW and think there will always be an ( * ) on this season with him especially if he is later charged. I am not sure why he wasn't but suspicious of it. DNA says at very least he was there and did do the nasty. If later he is charged and found guilty does the NCAA make Florida vacate this season like they did to Penn? My personal feelings is as soon as this surfaced Florida should have removed him from the rooster just in case, nothing against the guy I don't know him but I have seen the NCAA do stuff to teams that I do not believe they should have and could see them doing it here as they allowed him to keep playing after allegations were made. Had they benched him at minimum then It would have been more difficult for the NCAA to sanction the team. I say this because I do not think this story is over and I HATE SEEING TEAMS PENALIZED for the actions of one person. And I will state I despise the NCAA, they IMO need to stick to making sure academics rules are followed and stay out of the ( Criminal / legal affairs ) end of the sport. IMO Criminal and Legal should be handled by LAW ENFORCEMENT and the COURTS. But after Penn I fear the NCAA will get involved in far more and that IMO could detract from good teams, good players and good coaches and that to me isn't right.

Well I'm happy OSU got exposed good last night I said they were not that good and would loose against a top 10 ranked team and they did. I'm happy it will be Auburn v Florida in the NCG, Gus is a helluva coach and his team has bought in to the program and some Miracles have happened for them. Will they be able to contain what seems uncontainable is the question, But I will say this if Florida tries to have shoot-out against them Florida Looses, they will have to stop the run and Auburn will have to stop the pass. Duke found the chinks in the Florida armor last night in the first quarter and if Gus and company can make four quarters of frustrating the Offense of Florida then Auburn wins. 1/2 Sleet here plus 9'' of snow on the ground now and local weather saying 5 to 6 inches more by 1pm. If that holds true our totals could be between 15 to 18 inches on the ground and not suppose to get above freezing until Thursday and then another storm next Saturday. Persimmons didn't have spoons they had snow shovels. Mother Natures weather forecast tools are much better than mans.

Agree, I really don't get where they came up with these people. It should have been purely unbiased persons and an AD for a school is far from unbiased. I would like to have seen 13 people on it retired from sports or at least not affiliated actively working for a school. They don't have to even be from football but with a working knowledge of how to judge strength of schedule, play of team etc. There is a host of X-coaches that would have been great that were detail orientated and such. Ones that come to mind are; Bill Cowher Bobby Knight Madden Don Shula Joe Montana Elway Those guys would have looked at the games and play and though the system isn't perfect I would have felt better with people like that.

Now Now Quill, there is no way if the SEC is involved that ( a little puff of smoke ) will ever do. More than likely a massive bon-fire with someone in a monster truck jumping it yelling HEY BUBBA WATCH THIS with the match-ups on a streamer on the back of the truck. Im still trying to figure out how Condi got on the selection committee.

BCS drama aside what is it that everyone likes about college football? For me its, The bands, The cheerleaders, The flags, The athletes still seem to play with heart and true love and passion for the game. But #1 is all the traditions and there is just to many to list of those to list, I love driving around town before a home game and seeing the flags on cars and hearing all the game talk its an atmosphere that is really only found in College ball. College ball seems to have a life force of heart and soul. Pro ball seems to be flat and just another excuse for drinking at best.

Need to see how the roads are Duane, Call me before you head out I'll let you know if its safe. They are talking maybe an inch of ice (praying they are wrong) but if its true you better stay home those roads will be deadly. If not my arm is officially twisted oh it hurts it hurts oh the agony
