  1. I saw 4 yesterday at the mouth of Cow Creek
  2. Thanks for the great report and advice
  3. Not to argue but last spring on LOZ 5 fish limit 18.36 lbs. All thou I didn't win the tournament, I did cash a check and it was one of those days that I was having a rough time catching any size. So I tryed the Neg rig. It not something I thought I would try up here. But that day it worked great, caught alittle over 13 keepers that day with my biggest being around 5 lbs if I remember correctly. Sometimes the craziest lure's work better in different situation
  4. My biggest is 18.25 caught him during a night tourament 2 years ago. Measured him but I didn't weigh gave him a big kiss and let go.I haven't got bigger that 14.5 since
  5. Congrats Are you on the right on the Lake and did you get a dock too?
  6. Sound like a pretty good deal. Ask if they will meet you at the lake for a test drive if they can. You will find several boats around that age and even newer I would stick with a main brand boat and motor if you can. It's easier to get parts for if you need anything. I have seen boats in the 80's and even the 90's around your price range on Craig List. Good luck

    Saturday

I didn't get to fish this weekend but I saw online that it took 11.84 to win the tournament out of Cape Fair marina and that was with 3 fish that pretty good average on 3 fish

  14. This has been a incredible post.I for one have trying to learn more and more about electronics. I got so involved over the weekend that I had fish on while I was looking at the screen that sometimes I forgot to jerk and reel the fish in. I've got to get more coordinated. Thanks to all for sharing your knowledge
  15. Great advice Thanks
  16. Getting ready to head to the lake now,I'm just now learning more about reading stuff like this. But at quick glance the feeding started from the bottom and moved to all different layers in the water coloumn. Then as the bait fish was going everywhere the bass looks like they brought them back together. I always been a structure fisherman and over the last month or so I'm trying to learn how to find and fish for the suspend bass. It's definately a total different game.
  17. IT seems to me for the average fisherman the stick bait it a great way to fish and alot of fun. You can catch good numbers and some big ones as well The A-rig is a completely different bait it is really coming on now with the water around 48 on the main lake. My experience you will on average catch more quality fish and/or bigger fish. I have personelly caught my best five at around 28 ilbs and on the stick bait around 24 lbs.It seems the A-rig is better with the water temp at 50 and below and the stick bait starting around 60 and below. I'm not a huge fan of the A-rig but for me to compete in certain tournments I have to throw it just to compete. There is always exception to the rule. This just what I experience
  18. I like using Hydro-Tec they always been good to me. Since they really specalize in Yamaha work Sorry Wrench But I do love my 250 SHO 4 Stroke Just my 2 cents
  19. Happy Thanksgiving to you and everybody Be safe and fish on
