TX is just a abbreviation for Tournament. Even thou you only caught a few it sounds like you still had a good time, I can only hope I feel the same way when I get older.

Let see if I can explain this right, I used a pigsticker jig 1/2 oz ( green pumkin ) with a Rage Craw ( green pumkin ) the smaller one. I caught just about everything in cuts off of the main lake. Without giving away all my spots, look for cuts off of the main lake with the oldest nastyest looking docks. It may be different when he goes but I had to fish real slow and really cover the area. Look for deep water close by or near the cuts that was the key . I caught everything around 8 to 10 feet of water with the boat sitting around 20 to 25 foot of water. All the fish were close to docks but not on the docks. One last thing if I started catching a lot of small fish I would leave that bank and go to a different bank. It seem to make a different because I never caught a quality around those smaller fish. I hope this helps and good luck

Fished a TX on Sunday took out of PD 2 and fished around the Gravious area had 5 good fish for 18.13 lbs. that was the only keepers we caught. We had a few small fish just not alot of fish in general. Caught everything on a jig.

Well since we got started talking about boats I thought I"d throw in my 2 cents. I almost bought a Nitro Z-9 but after talking to a few Pro and other individuals They all told me to ride in 3 or 4 different brands and compare before I buy anything. I rode in Ranger Z 521 with Evinrude 250,Skeeter Z 21 with Yamaha 250 SHO, Nitro Z 9 with a Mercury 250. I did this over several months because I'm real slow at buy anything especaily this kind of money. I wanted to ride in a Phoenix 921 but I didn't get the oppurtunity. After several rides in various conditions I bought the Skeeter. I loved everything about it. The Nitro for the monies is the great buy but the resale for what I can tell isn't very good. If your just shopping for price you can't hardly beat Nitro but for the others things mention earlier there really is know comparison. I also heard the rumor Nitro has a major design change coming

I went to all Lews reels myself best deceision I made and It nice to have the Headquarters here in Springfield,MO Very tough, relaible and Light weight.

I agree on the quality of large fish that TR has. I think the fish kill we had several years actually turned into a great thing for TR. Another thing that help with TR is there is several public boat ramps making the lake more accessible than LOZ. I fish them both quite a fair amount like Dtrs5kprs said the shear numbers of large bass that are being caught is unreal but for me on LOZ I seem to catch more 3 to 5lbers on average

I was there saturday and sunday, I saw water temp range from 52 to 56 by sunday afternoon

I just recently bought some property that is lake front near Shell Knob and it joins the corp land, Before I started trimming anything I called the COE. I requested for them to come to my property They came out and actually were pretty easy to get along with. They told me as long as I didn't remove any of the trees on the shore but I could trim them That everything was fine.I went into as much detail as I could trying to cover all basic. So far everything worked out

The custom painted wiggle warts on Ebay vary a lot in price. If you get a good name and about 5 to 6 quality colors you can make a lot of money Example is the Hunter boys they custom paint pre-rapala wiggle warts and there hot colors usual sell for around 40 to 50 dollars. Then there is others custom painted baits by other people that sale for around 10 to 15 dollars. You have a great talent wish the best on your future endeavors

I used to be a Falcon fan, I had several of there rods and really loved the way there were balanced. I used to fish the old Lews reels back in the Childer's day's so I bought and tried out the new Lews reels. I fell in love with there reels and having been using them about 3 years now.I to wanted to try out there rods. So I bought 2 rods and and tried them out for 3 months to see if that was what I wanted to go with, especially since a friend of my said he would buy them if I didn't like them.I like the way they are balanced and the quick action tip still with plenty of backbone. I change all my rods to Lews and I haven't been diappointed at all Just my 2 cents

I had a similiar noise on my 150 mercury, If I put it in gear the noise would be more pronounce mine came up being the gears, I had some teeth broken off the gears. I ended up replacing the lower unit

It sounds like your doing most things correctly,First I would do a through cleaning of your Livewell sometimes you can get junk in there that can be harmful I"m personally a big fan of Oxyenator it help enrich the live well with oxygen If you have this makes sure you have water in your livewell plenty early that way it has time to its job also, if you can your fill livewelll at home if you have well water that way the water already cool Make sure you have the water and everything already done before you put your fish Make sure you Fizz your fish These are just somethings that I do But remember sometime no matter what you do it just happens
