  2. i have owned lund boats for several years currently am in a 19 ft lund pro v if you want to look or take a ride let me know be glad to give you the grand tour am on trock at baxter they are as good as they get imo take the kids grandkids and great to fish out of thats my 2 cents
  3. use boat two to three times a week maybe run motor (200 verado) hour or so each time out sometimes more sometimes less 3000 to 3500 rpm seldom more probably 8 months of the year question is do i need to change oil every year i am not using synthetic does oil have a shelf life have been changing filter and all but wondering if it is needed thanks for feed back
  4. saw your report bought a downrigger for table rock but have been steered away from its use would like to sell if any one interested walker tournament pro with auto stop never used listed at 519 like to get 150 have been doing well on the rock trollingover 40 to 50 ft with deep n in blue chrome good luck
  5. thanks for the info do appreciate all the input both fishing and other wise have been trolling deep crank baits in thirty foot from early am to about ten on some of the long flats around baxter getting bit pretty well surprise to see several lm in the keeper range not just spots slow aas the verado will run shad color with some blue seems to be best good luck

  10. fly rod 9ft 8 weight (this much I know ) the aluminum case it is in says T.HARGROVE FLY FISHING INC. it has a number on the case that corrisponds with the matching number on the rod it is a two piece rod there is a name on the case evidently the person it was built for the same name is on the rod it looks to be a custom built rod any help would be appreciated as I know nothing about fly rods thanks

  19. flicker ran very good tried three different colors shad /gold/ and firetiger shad was three to one as far as catch ratio depth they ran verses the little chart that comes with them was very close did have to adjust speed some but not a big deal did learn that if you troll with kicker and it is using same linkage as the verado the electric assist powering steering will kill the battery and you will not be able to start the big motor takes about three hours of continuous running of the kicker that verado is a pain in the neck to start with a pull rope lol
  20. short report spent the last two days fri sat trolling flicker shad (thanks mister feather and fins) good success allmost all k"s some over 16 one seventeen as wide as it was long most in the thirteen range few blk"s all 20 to 25 ft mostly on secondary long runouts or directly in front of deep docks bait running 15 to 18 ft 8lb mono about 1.8 mph 60 to 80 yds behind boat i am too old and lazy to throw the chandelier and my partner is way to old to do anything hope this helps any other old poops
  21. thanks f&f for the info looking to upgrade not a big checkbook thinking about 581i at bp was wondering if you could see your bait when drop shoting as i do on my current lowrance i know it can be a loaded question but any opion is better then none to starty thanks
  22. while on the subject going to update electronics looking at the 581 i bps has on sale any opinion or advice would be helpfull not a rich person but willing to spend for a good unit thanks
  23. need a little help going o upgrade electronics looking at the 581i heard mix on being able to see drop shot rig or not also my old poop partner in theback keeps wining about not knowing what is going on can i run two locators at same timed any hel or advice greatly needed before spending money suggestions welcome also replacing partner at this time not an option
