+1. 👍 I worked part time at a bait shop before I could even drive, and there was an old guy that would come in every couple months and buy up all the Heddon Sonics, and Bayou Boogies that we had on the rack. I grabbed a few of each and tried them diligently in the ponds, creeks, and strip pits where I fished at the time........I never even got a sniff on them. Not sure what/where that ol' fart was fishing, but he sure seemed to be on to something.

Score 1 on the Midge-Oreno. What your seeing that looks flatfishy is an old wooden top water "doodlesocking" spoon that I've never been able to properly identify. It used to have a clump of hackles streaming off the back of it. It came from a resort in Minnesota. No markings on it at all. Somebody should actually make some of these.....because it has an incredible amount of action.

Plenty of loud music and gunfire with no earplugs in my past......but nothing started the incessant ear-ringing like having a F3 tornado take the house from right over my head. I figured it would go away in a few days, but it's been 17 years now. 🥴

When I was training in Fla. several of my classmates had a side gig of collecting and selling gator eggs. They control the sex of the hatchling by altering the temperature of the egg. According to them, that is why gators can't establish a population much further north. They can live through our winters just fine.....but if they successfully mate then all of the offspring will be the same sex. It takes a very specific temperature region to produce both males AND females.

"Teach your kids to fish" you said. It was even on billboards and in magazines. Now they have all grown up, bought boats of their own.....and suddenly THEY ARE IN YOUR WAY! Clogging up boat ramps, coves, points, ect. Darn the luck! 😂 We should have kept our peckers in our pants, and kept our fishing gear to ourselves. Or at least left them at home playing video games like they WANTED TO in the first place. But NOOOO, just had to get those kids outside! 🙄 It's only gonna get worse from here on out. 😅

Boy you said a mouthful there !!!! I've been doing a ton of research, and a lot of the cases make me think ....."My God, how can that poor person withstand such agony?" Not only that, but who is keeping their home and family afloat (the wolf away from the door) while they are undergoing all that miserable crap? One particular brown on the Current river has been haunting me for going on 13 years. Not because he was enormous or anything......just something about the way it charged out of that root-wad, ate my fly, and then just sat there staring me in the face for what seemed like 10 seconds.....as if to say.... "you gonna set the hook, or just stand there like an idiot?" Then he calmly spit it out like a watermelon seed, turned broadside and slowly eased back into the jungle from whence he came. 😳 You ever just get surprised and freeze up?

Yeah I probably should. This gal came highly recommended, but like I said earlier.....I get the feeling that her #1 goal is cosmetic perfection in the end. She should be in Hollywood instead of dealing with farmers and laborers in the Midwest. I'm going to go with the Curaderm BEC5 treatment and see how that goes. If that doesn't have positive results then I guess I'll go in search of another dermatologist that better understands my point of view. Although I've always condemned people that keep jumping around to different doctors until they find one that tells them what they want to hear. This crap is so frustrating! She wants to put me on Erivedge for 4-6 months.....to allegedly shrink it......Then do surgery. So I spent a week intimately researching "Erivedge" and.... HELL TO THE NO! I voiced my concerns as sincerely and respectfully as I could, and she copped a very noticable attitude. I had her on speaker and my wife and kid even picked up on the way her demeanor instantly changed. That crap is pure poison. I mean, you aren't even supposed to use the same toilet as others in your household for 3 months AFTER you stop taking it. Muscle and joint pain, weight loss and nausea is guaranteed. If I was a housewife and all I had to do was load a dishwasher a few times a week.....then that would be one thing...... But I have a physical business to run here ! So, NO!

😅 I'm gonna try the Curaderm process and suffer through the burn......They say it hurts like hell for the first few applications, but things tend to grow back normally after the bad cells are wiped out. One dudes nose was 1/4 gone and it filled back in really well. Tons and tons of excellent reviews......yet the U.S. medical assoc. pretends to not even recognize it. I dunno, but it sounds way better than what the dermatologist is trying to push.

No sir. Anchored means "anchored". Literally. And technically (as of today) Power Poles and drift socks don't count...... believe it or not. I always found that odd, since you can't really tell if a boat is "anchored" or not from 100' away.

There's no rule/law that I'm aware of. It's 100' for a dock. You can get a stack of these at any marina or license office

Yeah I expected it to be squamous, but basal cell was what it turned out to be.....which I was initially happy to hear. She gave me the big speech about how I should always come in ASAP whenever I notice something, but I explained to her that it all started with a fight with a bungee hook.....and that my whiskers, and me picking at it, really slowed the healing. So I really didn't start to think that anything was totally abnormal for a long time. Honestly I feel like their big goal is to make me 100% beautiful and handsome again, regardless of my inner future health. Piss on THAT ! I just want the cancer gone, and for it to heal over once and for all. I don't care one bit if I'm a little disfigured from here on out. We sat up half the night tying black/wht w/yellow flash.....Blue/wht w/silver flash..... and Gray/wht w/pearl flash. It was a hoot ! We took the bathroom door off the hinges and laid it across the beds in the motel room.....That was our tying station. 😅 The black/wht. w/yellow flash was the hands down winner for all 3 of us. We were there for a whole 2 weeks and it never let up. And a week after the 2 of us went back home ol'Tom was still down there hammering them and sending pics daily. He lived there close. I heard that Tom passed on several years back, he was a hell of a guy. 😇
