Yup, this is the type of activity that gets you ordered out of the driver's seat, and kicked out of your OWN house.

From what I hear they are doing a fine job keeping up with their warranty obligations. And truly going out of their way to make their customers happy. 👍 My bashing of Suzuki outboards was legitimate for years.....but they (Suzuki) are on a path NOW that is going to lead them right to the top.

Back in '06 I dammed up a little spring fed ditch in an attempt to make a 1 acre test tank / fishing hole. It didn't hold water though, never got more than 4' deep.

Original Muddler Better, and simpler to tie with a strip of fur behind the head. 👍 The original is sexy and has that old school appeal.....but honestly it's never been a staple of mine. I never could decide if WINGS TOGETHER or WINGS SPLAYED were best..... because I just never could catch enough fish on them either way. The fur strip version though......OMG! So many fish !

I'd rather they just be up-front and make a statement that says...."Look, were gonna do whatever we see fit, regardless of how ridiculous it may sound. You don't have a say in any of it, so just mind your own personal household business, pay your taxes, and obey the laws that we've laid out for you." All of these reporters and news outlets can start chicken farms and sell eggs, or find other productive careers. There's no sense in "addressing the public" and lying about everything because all that does is cause arguments and start fights. Individual families can't even get along because of their staunch political views. As for the TP shortage....... Throughout that whole ordeal I never once got done pooping and lacked something to wipe my butt with. 2 napkins from Sonic, or a washrag and a cup of water, can fulfill my daily needs. The fact that the whole country got all bent out of shape over that was absolutely ridiculous.

I'm still curious how they first identified it as a Chinese vessel. I have a feeling that the Chinese contacted the U.S. before it ever got here, and said something to the effect of..... "Hey, one of our exploratory balloons has veered into the jet stream and is headed on a course into your airspace. If this is a problem let us know and we'll chase it down and do whatever is necessary". To which the U.S. officials likely said..... "Oh that's fine, we'll keep an eye on it and if it starts to cause a problem we'll let ya know."........ Then we shot it down, and now they are pissed. And rightly so. The other scenario would go like this..... We spot it and have no idea what it is or WHO it belongs to, so the U.S. puts out a worldwide bulletin.....and whoever chimes in first, and says they own it, we just immediately believe them. And take their word on its purpose.....So we let it drift completely across the United States before we drop a hammer on it. Which scenario do you buy? Or do you wanna speculate on a different one? Would love to hear it. Either way there's no legitimate reason for anything about it to be TOP SECRET, CLASSIFIED, or CONFIDENTIAL. 🙄 The whole MUSHROOM treatment we get from our government and media is beyond old. (they keep us in the dark and feed us bull$#!t)

In all seriousness, it was really stupid to shoot it down. Especially after it had already passed completely over the United States. It would have been much smarter to track where it was headed to next. It obviously was never going to make it all the way back to from whence it came.......so it was destined to fall on SOMEONE'S property that doesn't belong to anyone in China. When I was a teenager we were camped at Marshall Diggs CA and some kinda "space debris" fell from the sky and landed in Whitesell lake. 2 very heavy pieces of it. Heavy enough to crush a house for sure . If that lake is ever drained I'd love to see what that was. I know exactly where to look too. If that had fallen on somebody's house, barn, or building...... nobody would have claimed it, and somebody's insurance premium would have increased drastically.
