  1. In an honest, legal, and transparent system.......Why the need for so many classified or top-secret docs ? I'm not at all concerned with how these documents are handled. I'm more disturbed by the fact that they exist (in such ridiculous numbers) in the first place. Meanwhile......Edward Snowden still can't come back home. 😢
  2. I'm more in favor of mass resistance. Know the laws (intimately) and adhere ONLY to the real laws. Ignore the perceived rules/laws, and make sure that your tax preparer knows the differences. And accept no government assistance. (Including stimulus checks). Ghost the polling locations. There's legally no reason for a career politician to be living better than a successful small business owner. 👍
  3. Oh God. Here comes the Chompers Facebook picture dump...... 😂
  4. Well, that was a really stupid way to "fight it". There are much smarter ways, but it takes cooperation and unity..... Ya know, the things that every American says that we stand for and live by. Fake/phoney people that are too timid and too afraid of not "fitting in" are the ones who allow the BS to keep going on.
  5. Oh BS. We continue to allow it. Hell, we condone it, by repeatedly playing the game, year after year. Generation after generation. Participants of the highest order.
  6. Hell, there are still Top Secret, Classified documents regarding Epstein island that can't be reviewed. He is allegedly dead, and She has been convicted and is in prison......So what else is there that has to be kept "top secret"? If it's about protecting someone, then why create a hard copy document to begin with.....or why not DESTROY IT ? Obviously it's a chess piece, being held and protected for potential future use (bribery). We are so dirty and corrupt that it is sickening......Or so it seems. 🙄
  7. I'm not sure if this "sign" means anything, but yesterday on the way home from JC we saw a line of starlings 100 yards wide, that had to have been 15-20+miles long, heading N-NE. Unbelievable number of birds all being driven by SOMETHING.
  8. The outboard marine industry is loaded with "classified"information. It's all stuff like.... "This ignition component will only operate as designed under THESE certain parameters......blah-blah- blah". Which might be helpful IF you had any control over said "parameters". 🙄. But you seldom do.
  9. Seriously though, if these so-called "classified documents" are so-called "Top Secret".....then who can confirm or deny that the information within is true or false? The whole thing seems really childish and stupid to me. Not to mention WORTHLESS. Are we really this ignorant?
  10. Are you saying that there are guys here that can't control themselves? 😅 I have faith in them. Guess we'll see.....
  11. I've always wondered.....If there is information that only a select few are privy to knowing, then WHY are there "documents" created that contain that information? How can there be trust in anything/or anyone, if there is so much information that only a select few are allowed to know? If it's SO IMPORTANT, do they really need to create documents about it? Why? So the few that are allowed to know don't forget it ? 🤔
  12. Mine had a cheap Martin reel that was a knockoff of the more popular Pfluger Medalist. And I haven't a clue what the line was.....but it floated, and it was brown. You could see brown braid beneath a clear coating. It was supple, floated fine, lasted for years even after being tangled in rocks, stepped on, and never cleaned. I traded it for a Browning graphite rig because I thought I needed a 9 footer. Stupid move.
  13. Matt's name has mysteriously come up twice today now. Hope that's a good omen.👍
  14. Who was that classy dude that used to cut up dollar bills for his toe-tags in fly swaps? I always wanted to do that.....but refused to copy that cool originality. 😊
  15. I think they run about the same price as a new Nitro Z21 package, and a tow vehicle. Might be worth giving up bass fishing for. 🤔
  16. 100% classy dude. 👍 ..... as compared to some on here 😂
  17. I had a 8'6" Fenwick 6wt. when I was a kid. It was a really sweet rod. Wish I still had one. My first "Bass rod" was an Eagle claw 7'6" 7wt. that had red shrink tubing holding the guides on, and a Cortland 7wt.level line. Bought at the local True value hardware store. That thing was like casting a chainsaw.....but it did get the job done.
  18. Their claim to fame is that they are the only reel heavy enough to balance out many of the old glass rods.
  19. Where the hell did Matt Tucker run off to? Did he give up flyfishing and take up whorehouse embroidery or something?
  20. It's no fun for B. on here. Because of the regal status he wishes to maintain, he feels that he must avoid, at all cost, being part of any controversy. In other words......He can't just haul off and call you a douchebag even if he thinks you are being one. So see, suppression kills! 🤷‍♂️
  21. As long as you weren't throwing a "mop fly"......I dig it. Hope you spanked them 👍
  22. I took an outdoor writer on a smallmouth float once, and there were suckers on the bottom of the slick water runs, easy to spot because they were putting off cloudy spots behind them. He started casting just above the cloudy spots and brought 4-5 to hand on a Rebel wee craw crankbait, and snagged & lost several more. The ones he brought to hand were all caught in the mouth.....So they will chase and eat lures tickled along the bottom... SOMETIMES. I've tried force feeding them flys 1000 times since then though, and have never been successful.
  23. Sudden unexplainable acceleration on my Tahoe is one thing.......Sudden unexplainable acceleration on my wife is something I'm definitely not certified to deal with. Remember Stepford Wives? 😳
