As long as I can stay busy working on pre-computer controlled (mechanical) systems I'll have to pass. Doing so is the only thing that has thus far protected my reputation. I like happy and satisfied customers.

I think it's a fact that the majority of anglers aren't that careful with their C&R practices. Hell I'll be openly honest and admit that some of the fish that I release aren't exactly being released completely unscathed. A barbless hook rule would help, but I HATE fishing with barbless hooks more than I hate driving on bald tires. Besides you know full well there would be no enforcement of a barbless hook rule whatsoever anyway. So if they allowed it 7 days a week the population in the stream (with no additional stocking) would be completely kaput in about 10 days. By allowing it Fri-Mon they are allowing 2 actual weekdays. So swap your Wednesday for a Friday or a Monday and you're golden. 😊

Twas a frustrating day for most. 16 boats competed. Only took 12.18 to win, and BB was 4.42 The winning limit was caught pitching a 3/8 jig behind docks in the back 1/2 of the most pounded creek in the Gravois arm of the lake. @conorsixtakcand I did all the right things (but apparently in the wrong spot) and caught short fish all day, never touched a keeper. Sure enjoyed fishing with him though, dude definitely has the skills 😊👍

We get to hear that all the time around here, but it's the hawks snatching squirrels. They soar around up high just watching the gravel roads, and if a squirrel crosses a road he's a goner.
