    Whoops, you've got me there. I mean I did turn it off, and back on..... That's MY version of "reboot". But her version of "reboot" was to wipe all the settings clean and go through the whole setup procedure from total scratch. Only took HER a couple minutes, but it would have taken ME all day long...,and I had more important things to do with my day.

    No, I said I was prepared to, but was hoping to avoid it. Because EVERYTHING to me included handing over the checkbook and just sending them to go buy a new one. Luckily THIS TIME it only cost me 2 beers and a turkey sandwich. 😁👍

    Yeah. Because of the reasons I listed above. The result of....high float level, hole in diaphragm, fouled plugs.....is "overly rich mixture"..

    Growing up, our driveway was 74 yards long and lined on one side with gooseberry bushes. If I never eat another gooseberry for the rest of my life, that would be just fine. It would also be great to never get shot in the middle of the back with one from a slingshot either. 😵

    Milky discharge coming from the prop area is usually from raw fuel/oil in the exhaust housing. Look for a pin hole in the fuel pump diaphragm, a carb float level that is set too high, or an ignition issue that is causing inconsistent firing, or firing out of time.

    Speed-reeling a swim jig or a chatterbait around docks is a solid technique when the water is clear. I noticed during the C-rig bite back in April that I got more bites with a heavier weight and much faster retrieve than I normally use. Doing it all day with a deep diving crankbait would be like splitting 4 cords of wood with a maul. If I was on a bite like that I'd sure try to narrow down my key areas so that I didn't have to cover alot of water. Or at least pick a bait like a Shad Rap or lipless bait. Something that doesn't fight you so hard.

    I like a good dip bait for channel cat, either Sonny's or Bowkers. Any type of real meat (shrimp, liver, cut bait, ect.) just gets messed with by turtles too much. If there's a channel cat within a 40ft. circle of where that dip bait worm is thrown, you're gonna get a bite within 10 minutes. I give it 15 minutes and if no bites then I'll move. I don't have enough patience to sit on a spot for hours with no bites.

    I have several aquaintances that always leave me questioning what keeps them out of jail/prison. A few have relatives in law enforcement, and I figured it was "connections" that caused leniency.... But I later learned that wasn't necessarily the case. They had just been taught to STFU! You'd be amazed at the crap people can get away with if they just keep their mouth shut and refuse to sign anything.

    You'd be proud of me! This week is the annual Lake Area Garage Sale Week. Sugarbritches started making plans to go garage saleing, and I told her that instead of GOING she should be HAVING one. That totally jammed her operating system to the point that now it appears that she will do neither. 😅

    I'm not 100% sure how the law works there, but unless he left the store with it I'm not so sure he can be charged with shoplifting/stealing.....Unless he's an idiot (obviously, but still...) and confesses his intent. I mean, they can CHARGE him I guess. But if he just keeps his trap shut they can't convict him. Maybe he put it in his pocket so he could pick a booger or blow his nose? Felt like he was going to sneeze....and didn't wanna drop it. A pocket is nothing more than a shopping bag.

    Pitcocks are a joke. After my pitcock stops dripping I can remove it and drain another 1/2 gallon sometimes.

    True. But 120psi won't quite cut it around here. Mine kicks on at 132 and runs to 160. Just a turn of the regulator screw....but the tank needs to be rated for it. What's the max rating on that one Marty?
