There are quite a number of posts on this forum that I'm not very interested in......So I simply don't click on them ! I don't understand the bitching about what is being posted🤔 If a post, or topic, doesn't interest you then DON'T CLICK ON IT. Seems obvious to me, but some of you act like you are forced to read EVERYTHING.

Family ? If you don't think that tensions arise among family members when one decides they are atheist, or changes who they vote for.......then you've just never been around a family of independent people. 😅 Hell, "family" fights can happen over how much butter to put in the Macaroni & cheese.

Let me just say this.... When a group of people that you like, and care about, have rather important views that seem obviously twisted to you, it's normal to just want to understand WHY. And when they either fail to make you understand, or they blow you off by insinuating that YOU are the one that has a twisted brain, and offer up no explanation that has any merit....... Then the feelings of uncertainty remain. "Is it ME that has thinking errors?....Or is it in fact THEM?" 🤔 Because ONE OF YOU is indeed wrong.....make no mistake about it ! Politics & Religion are two areas that have always spawned societal blockage. Determining Friend...or....Acquaintance, in the true sense. More often than not, trying to turn an Acquaintance that you really like....into a genuine Friend.....is what causes things like what has happened here today. So all of you ACQUAINTANCES just need to realize where you stand, and decide whether BOTH OF YOU can be content with that, or not. 😉

You don't think the economy is good for bankers ? Oh I bet it is just fine! 😅 The economy suits me ok too. Less actual work.....and the bills are still getting paid because I give myself raises as they are needed. The thing that changes with the economy, in MY business, is the type of people that I'm doing work for. When the economy is "good" I am dealing more with factory/hourly workers, guides, farmers, cops, and construction workers. Guys driving rough old dusty trucks, with a cold beer in a cooly cup. And most pay with cash and tell lots of jokes and fishing stories. These days it's almost all Real Estate investors, Bankers, Lawyers, college professors, business owners, ect. towing their boats with fresh, clean Tundra's and Rams, sipping on flavored water. And paying with credit cards. They never hang around and just chew the fat. And never have any good beef or deer jerky to share. The middle class folks are on too tight of a budget to be fishing & boating much I think.

Just to be 100% clear.....I have no problem at all with immigrants. Most I've interacted with in my lifetime are good people.....But lately it seems there is a new breed (so to speak) of immigrants, and they are not pleasant at all......yet we would be punished SEVERELY if we stood our ground against them. I just don't get it. They are like spiders in our living room. And everyone in the house is so afraid of them that the entire household is under their authority. Some of these "spiders" have lots of money too......and are buying up HUGE parcels of our land. I don't know about you, but I don't care for the smell of that.

Just for the record I believe that both Missouri and Kansas voted overwhelmingly opposite of you in the last thingy they had. And probably will again. I didn't participate in any of them. How's it feel to have your particular views among a huge minority in your neighborhood ? It's lonely being so smart, hu ?

As long as he ain't spearing smallies, or blocking boat ramps 👍 None of that other stuff you mentioned had any negative effect on me, my family, or my friends, that I'm aware of. 🤷‍♂️

Aside from THAT......What does it take to load your boat at a public access, where your truck & trailer is parked, and go home, when it's 98°, you're hot & tired & hungry, low on gas, the "law" fails to respond, and a group of foreign individuals are excersizing freedom by turning the boat ramp into their own private little concrete beach, and failing to understand anyone that spoke to them, and refusing to move out of the way? Luckily I was just hanging out, letting my dog swim, witnessing the situation, and could just leave and go home..... which is what I did. Had I been among the group floating out there waiting to use the ramp.... Hillbilly justice would have been initiated, and I'd likely be in jail. How would YOU have dealt with that PEACEFULLY ? Any suggestions?

No no. How I feel about it.....and what I might say in front of friends, should be obvious to you guys😅 But there's a serious element here, and WE (all of us) need to get smart about how to best deal with it. Because if you haven't already personally had a run-in with this type of thing..... you're likely going to before much longer. It's potentially tense and pretty unsettling. (As in....you could end up dead or in jail FOR REAL!)

Terrierman likely felt like it was headed in a bad and unproductive direction.....and let's be honest.....he has a good reason for expecting that. 😉 Do us all a favor and ensure that it doesn't cross that line. Think before you sound off! Because this is becoming a thing that we all need to be careful how we deal with, and be smart about dealing with it.... when we have to.

So what is the proper, and acceptable, way to interact with these people? There were a few, myself included, that were tempted to get physical with that bunch on the boat ramp.....but we all knew darn well that we'd end up in jail, or badly hurt, if we did. A couple of the dudes in the group were built like Olympians.....and I'm not too sure I have it in me anymore. It's been a while since I seriously scrapped with anyone, and let's face it.....I'm getting too old to be fighting FAIRLY. Honestly 🤔
