  1. Purty! šŸ‘ I'm tired of my yard looking like a marina. It's really pretty here when it isn't all clogged up with bassboats and pontoons.
  2. Perfect example......Look at how batshit crazy YOU are. šŸ˜Ž
  3. I think everyone is crazy. I'm the only truly sane person in the entire world....as far as I can tell.
  4. Try adjusting your transducer angle to more "center" the zone that you are fishing.
  5. Let's talk about them šŸ˜‚
  6. Not sure where you "checked", but I know several guys that have been recently. No problems at all.
  7. Watch out for Gators.
  8. Enjoy the float. You should start fishing as soon as the mouth of the spring is within sight. šŸ˜…
  9. Do you just want Phil to add a "Dating" section to this site? GTFOH! šŸ˜‚ I mean we've got "politics" so....might as well
  10. I don't like the new trucks OR the new boats. Too much touch-screen, computerized BS. I'm a button/switch/dial kinda guy. A dude tossed me the "key" to his truck the other day. It looked like a shoehorn. I was like "WTH am I supposed to do with THIS???" phuuuuck! I'm becoming my grandpa. -------!
  11. The suspense is more than I can stand.....WHAT was in the box !?!? šŸ¤”
  12. Poof! Gone. Sometimes you blink and you miss things 'round here. šŸ˜‹

One of my all time favorites tonight... Devil Dogs! šŸ˜‹
  14. Shut up, Sims, they say. 🤫 Alright šŸ™„
  15. No, one thing that's WAY WORSE than river tournaments is...... Wait for it........ ...... Gigging season. 😟
  16. It is if I'm the one telling the story. Except, if I'm talking about Lake Ozark I don't consider a 12" Kentucky a "keeper"...... although technically it is.
  17. Ya wanna know what I find the weirdest about that? Birdshit šŸ¤”
  18. I set my limit at "No Air Compressors or Scuba tanks". If Airguns were my one and only serious hobby, then there'd be no limits.....But I have multiple interests and none of them (except for piddling with boats and outboard motors) are cheap or self sustaining.
  19. Bass come in 4 sizes. Dink, Keeper, Unit, Toad. Exacts only matter if your in some kind of "Who-da-man-Today" contest.
  20. Because it is directional you should get a blank spot behind a suspended object (fish). With cone sonar the areas behind a suspended object are filled in .... but you can't assume the relationship between the suspended object and what is being displayed directly under it is accurate. It could be 5-10' off to the side, in reality.
  21. It's not my style, or cup of tea, either. But I can only tolerate getting my butt handed to me twice. There ain't gonna be a 3rd time. 😊
  22. Only during the "off limits" period. If that's even a rule anymore.
  23. Supposedly the military has even better than THAT.....but us lowly "payers of it" aren't privy enough to be trusted with it. šŸ™„
  24. I've been playing with Livescope and Livesight since last July. Everyone is convinced that Garmin is #1 but what I've noticed is that the Garmin units are programmed to "fill in" images. In other words....Not everything you see on Livescope is TRULY THERE. Livesight seems to be more true, and doesn't try to BS you into thinking that one 9" crappie (among the 15-30 others) is a 4lb. bass. But without the programmed "fill ins" the images are often too blurry to read and interpret. I'm holding off on laying down the dough until the technology (and hopefully the price) settles down some. 360° is useful for locating suspended fish like white bass and crappie, but unless they are stationary (holding on an object, like a NoWake bouy cable) and not just cruising.....it will drive you absolutely crazy.
  25. I feel like the biggest accuracy improvement comes after you get all the oil blown out, and the rifling gets a decent amount of lead transfered to it. Obviously the POWER increases some after the piston seal seats, but I doubt that effects accuracy much. I have put those blue Australian piston seals on both of my break barrel guns with a very thin coat of Moly, and it gave both of them a 30-40fps boost immediately, that hasn't changed one bit in over 1000+ shots. Those piston seals are the bomb! The standard "doughnut type" seals are junk IMO. The only thing they do, and I think it's the reason why the manufacturers still use them, is they leak enough that it doesn't self destruct if you dry fire it. But the blue solid seals definitely make the gun pack a punch.
