I think the end game is that alot (maybe all) of us will be infected to a certain degree and our bodies will fight this virus. Most of us will get over it, but some of us will die. The big (talking point) focus is on the healthcare industry and how hard they'll be hit, and whether they'll run out of beds and supplies, but the fact that everybody seems blind to so far is that the healthcare industry is not saving anyone. To my knowledge there hasn't been a single person survive this yet who can attribute their survival to being under a doctor's care. Being monitored by a team of people wearing scrubs is not improving the survival rate.....and "monitoring" is all any hospital has done thus far. So the end game will be the same as if we never had a name for it, and just assumed it was a wicked bad chest cold. At least that's the way I see it.

They claim the Chinese wet markets are the cause (where it all began), but they've been doing that disgusting crap forever. It shouldn't have taken this long for a virus related to that, to start an epidemic.

Not to hijack, the food looks amazing by the way, but I hear hints of extremely low interest small business loans on the horizon. I'd like to buy a fresh truck and some overly expensive diagnostic equipment. Should I jump at this opportunity.....or just carry on as I've been doing? I hate owing anyone, and currently myself and my biz is debt free, but I could really REALLY use an update to stay on top of these new age engines soon to be out of warranty.

I've never tried deer heart, but I would if I was there NOW. Looks delicious. The gumbo was such a hit around here, everyone in the house is hollering for it, so I guess we'll do it again tonight. 😋

Whether they decide to keep the schedule is one thing. How many attend is another. Events and attractions that were not cancelled this weekend around here were very sparsely attended. Folks throw a fit when a cancellation is announced....but if it isn't cancelled, nobody shows up.

Yeah whatever 🙄 They always say that....up to a point, but it's pretty much a bluff. Last 4th of July one facility was 4 guards short and they were real close to loosing control over the place. They don't get paid good enough to die for their job, most prison personnel live fairly close....and all the prisoners know their names.

Saw a video of some dudes catching some up the Pomme river last weekend. Mostly little ones, but the bite looked to be pretty consistent. No idea how far up they were.

Went to a party last night where a group of various LEO's were present (water patrol, deputy's, and prison guards). Sounds like their biggest concern right now centers around the prisons. Anytime staffing gets cut short the prisoners plot a takeover. Lot's of note passing and quiet little pow-wow's going on there.

Sweet ride. Looks like a good hill climber. I printed off maps of those trails awhile back but the trip I had planned got cancelled. There are some nice trails around Truman.....and everywhere really, just gotta seek them out.

The dude I listened to last night seemed pretty knowledgeable, and was a straight talker. He said there's no dodging this one..... we're all gonna get it eventually. His advice was to eat right, exercise smart, and to get in as good of shape as you can as quickly as you can. The healthier you are the easier it will be on you. Sounds like good advice whether the threat is real or not.
