    I especially like the part about how you can be a drunken wife beater, child abandoner, who breaks every wildlife law in the books, ect........Then when the walls cave in and you're potentially facing life in prison you say "Ok I accept Jesus now" and it all goes away and everyone loves and trusts you again. That is so heartwarming. 🙄 They are (were) entertaining

    It was my understanding that 706.0 was Truman's "normal pool'. But now they are calling it the "flood stage line". Reading that whole report carefully it is abundantly clear that no matter what happens it is either the NWS or FERC's fault. 😄

    Exactly. So shouldn't some of these guys that have been blowing waterfowl out of the sky for 20+ years at least own one lonely Duck Commander call ? Surely he didn't sell that 40M worth of duck calls to the members of his church. Then again maybe his preaching is how he stays tax exempt.

    I'm curious why you'd want a spongey rod with stretchy line for jerkbait fishing? That goes against everything I know about it. I think he just had "one of those days", or he's into the wrong size fish. If you're getting smacks then I wouldn't change a thing, other than maybe the location. But that's just me.

    White bass will body slam a bait lots of times. Especially if they are chasing it and it suddenly stops. It feels just like a bite.

    Me too ! They totally hosed up the white bass run the last 2 years by keeping the level below 658 until mid May. It also caused property values to drop significantly on homes situated in the backends of coves. People looking to buy lakefront property now avoid areas with shallow water like the plague.

    Good luck, I've tried to get him down here to chase them with me but he always backs out. I'm not convinced yet that Pete is a real person. Probably a bot.

    It will work just fine. I have taken 1 at 35-40 yards, and another at a bit over 50. Dropped both deader than a hammer with 18.13gr. JSB's. The one at 50+ was a little guy about the size of a chipmunk and a shoulder shot through his "shell" still took him out.

    Hard to be more productive when you're sitting on the throne, so don't feel guilty about it. My phone is by my side (just dinging away) no matter what I'm doing. I catch up in spurts. Lots of stuff going on in all directions..... it's grossly entertaining. Beats the hell out of sitting in front of a TV for hours at a time.

    Nope. But accuracy in the ballistic data matters more. Lots of "fudge room" in the world of center-fire ballistics. Next to none in the sub-sonic airgun world. Chronographs are junk science. Shoot through 20 different chronys and you'll get 20 different readings. Using the same one however can be useful comparing loads and stuff like that. But in the airgun ballistics world 40-60 fps is a significant thing.

    100 yard shot on an armadillo or groundhog.....you are definitely gonna need a scoped rifle. A Remington 700 or Winchester 70 would be my personal pick. And probably in 6mm or .243 so it serves multiple duty. Of course your gonna need a fine set of optics for it (4-16x). If you hadn't said 100 yards then I'd have steered you towards a .25 Cal airgun. It's real easy to get closer to an armadillo. 😊
