  1. Another quote saved. Man, this thread is a gold mine !
  2. Once I start rolling downhill it's good to have someone closeby with a wheel chock. Thank you.
  3. The guy that wins big bass gets fisted.
  4. What's the street value on those bad boys?
  5. Careful, we have a few Podunk co. Deputy's here. Let's not piss them off!
  6. I believe they stick a finger in your butt hole to see if you tense up when asked certain questions. Would you mind being tournament director next Monday?
  7. Are you saying my Whopper plopper is more like a wiggle wart?
  8. I stand corrected. There's only ONE day now.
  9. Everyone in my family BUT ME has a TW shirt. They always send pink or some other chick color. Pretty smooth manuever on their part because I never get any grief from spending money there.
  10. Yeah but they aren't gonna BUY IT. They are a sponsor, don't ya know?
  11. L.D. is pretty vocal, and it seems to me that if most of what he publishes isn't true to a reasonable degree then the MDC would file suit and shut him up. It's one thing to talk smack in front of a group of friends, it's another to publish it in a bunch of newspapers. Instead they just decline to comment and follow up with a report of something heart warming that they are "studying".
  12. Well on Lake O there is only 2 days per week, during the season, when there is no scheduled tournaments. Mondays and Fridays. Every other day of the week you can find a weigh-in or two somewhere.
  13. Pretty gnarly huck-n-duck. Can you post up the lyrics for that tune? I'd love to sing along.
  14. He's just one of "those guys". I know a handful of them. One once said "I'm gonna go bowhunt a bobcat". I was like, yeah good luck with that, dude 4 days later he had already killed 2 There are hunters....and then there are guys like Marty. I think they have a special gland that causes the smell of their farts to bring in wildlife.
  15. Yeah I don't think they are "interrupting" the spawn this year, but I bet there will be a bunch of fish looking for a place to nest within a mile or two of the release sites, probably within the next 3 weeks. Too bad they can't just spawn in the coves where they are currently. Nothing over 2.7lbs. will get left where they are.
  16. Had an agent check us several years ago while my daughter and I were standing streamside during the fallout of a flood. About 40 buffalo were sloshing around heavily in a riffle and the agent says "what are those? Carp?" I said, its a bunch of Buffalo they always run up here during a flood. He looks for a few seconds and says "Buffalo? He kinda laughed and goes... No those are carp". As soon as he left my daughter says, Well did you learn anything? I said yeah I learned that the game warden in this county doesn't know what a buffalo is.
  17. I'm saving this quote for later on.
  18. Geeze, you're crabby 🦀
  19. I use 3M Super 77 on these And you'll break the hook before they come undone. I use long cure Devcon epoxy on everything else. The quick cure stuff turns yellow and gets brittle.
  20. Did you put a thread base over the hook shank, or did you try to glue a bare hook to the popper body like some crackhead Etheopian in a sweat shop? Geeze, you're supposed to be producing a proven, time tested, bona-fide killer. Not some friggin' attic experiment.
  21. I'll say it one more time, then I'll shut up. A few tournaments a month is cool, I'm all for it. 70-80 per month is overkill/rediculous/too much, and is moving too many fish around. If there just has to be that many, then changes should be made.
  22. You're gonna wish you'd never started this. If you aren't already.
  23. They are livewell fill/drain valves. Controlled by cables. Looks like you have 2 livewells with a single thru-hull fitting. Probably a single aerator pump as well.
  24. Well I'm tired of debating it too. I'm right and you're wrong. It's ok though, I forgive you.
  25. You either have a rock hung, a stuck caliper, or there's air in the line.
