  1. Sounds like you're doing it for them too cheap.
  2. Well educate me, because I'm ignorant about the danger(s). I pay a little extra for some kind of protection. Supposedly if my stuff gets hacked or whatever I am supposed to be protected. It cost 5 bucks a month or something. Funds don't set in my account very long, I'm pretty good at spending everything I deposit. I actually get paid for using my debit card, and I figured there was a good reason why they encourage it so much.
  3. That's the best day of Musky fishing in Mo. that I have ever heard about. Good Job!!!
  4. I am a very boring Beer person. MGD or Miller Lite if they're out of MGD. All the fancy eclectic beer that everyone raves about always tastes like piss and gives me a headache. I quit even trying different beers because I never really like any of them. There is either an aftertaste that won't go away, or there is a headache 30 minutes after finishing one. Bourbon/Whiskey straight with a chaser. Turkey, Beam, Jack, Crown, Makers....they are all good, but Southern Comfort is disgusting swill. Never touch gin or vodka. Don't care much for rum either. Tequila? Never met one I didn't like, but usually just buy Quervo gold. Shots or a margarita....or a shot chased with a margarita. On the wine list I like Redwood Creek Chardonnay with baked fish or salmon. All red and purple wines remind me of my Mad Dog 20/20 days....and I ain't going back there ever again.
  5. A 6" double action revolver gets my vote. .357 because it's easy single handed or in a rush, and plenty of loads to choose from. I'd buy a good used one and add the grips and holster of choice because I wouldn't plan on taking particularly good care of it.
  6. Fine then. Get out!
  7. ? I use a debit card. Now what? ☺
  8. No I watch the tracking. They are enjoying reduced shipping costs on their end. No other reason for my order to lay in Michigan, Indiana, or Arizona for 24 hours or more. Once it finally hits Camdenton it is here lickety-split.
  9. Tournament fishing is ALREADY too expensive. I know of only a few that can retire comfortably from it. If you can't afford a set of the required scales then you spent too much somewhere else. Sell some Wiggle Warts. In all my years of milling around competitive fishing, whether participating or being involved otherwise, I can only recall one incident of alleged cheating. If polygraphs soothe the suspicions then keep right on requiring them. Weigh-ins are a clusterf@$#. More discrepancies are brought up as a result of weigh-in errors than any other issue (outright cheating included). I truly am about to launch a full scale crusade about this. If tournament organizations in this state refuse to warm up to the idea then I'll go after it from a different direction. If there were only 10 or 12 tournaments per year on a body of water I wouldn't be near as fired up, but there are 10 darn near every WEEK. It's time to reel this crap in and re-rig.
  10. Am I the only one that waits way too long for TW to get stuff to them ? I order things from all over the country on a regular basis. TW is right up there with Feather-Craft when it comes to Sloooooow shipping. I can order stuff from Bob Marriot's in CA. and Feather-Craft right here in STL on the same day. The order from Marriot's will be here in 2-3 days. Feather-Craft or TW takes 5-7 days. What's up with that?
  11. The crappie guys around the lower Gravois (clear water) have been doing good. 10-15' and sometimes as shallow as 6-8' suspended under docks. None that I know are using minnows, just jigs.
  12. Fingers or a pair of pliers.
  13. Tournament guys just wanna catch fish and win. Having to babysit a box full of fish all day is a hindrance, not an asset to the program. So what was their position ?
  14. There is no denying that we have the technology now to weigh immediately and score. We have Go-pro's, Cellular phones, wireless internet, GPS tracking, ect. Scales could be easily networked together and could even have a video camera of their own built into them. The odds for cheating would be no different than they are now. I guess the only downside would possibly be that waypoints could be recorded for every single fish caught, so future tournaments on that body of water might get really interesting after that info leaked. As far as tournament fishing being a spectator sport..... I'd rather watch the event unfold than simply watch the guys weigh fish at the end of the day.
  15. Retire, travel and fish all the time. Guys like that are power junkies. He'll never have "enough" money. Business is his outlet, it's what drives him. It's likely all he ever thinks about.
  16. Good luck with that. Shad are everywhere. Bass, not so much, but then again yeah. It's a crap shoot. The only thing I ever find out chasing shad in open water is 12-13 inchers.
  17. I am on a crusade about the constant practice of relocating fish. I'm really getting sick of it. There has to be a better way to score all these tournaments.
  18. This.... is only true when bass are acting naturally. But when keeper sized bass are constantly being relocated they have no "home range", they are basically lost and wandering about. They do not know of spots that give them a feeding advantage. They USED TO but odds are they were transported many miles from there several weeks ago. And just as soon as they relearn a new home range....they get moved again. All the study's on bass behavior can be thrown out the window once the bass has been removed from the area it was once doing well in. Imagine if you were zapped out of your home town, placed in a dark box and dropped into an unfamiliar town far away. You'd have no idea which direction to get "home". You'd have to find a new job, a new grocery store, a new source of shelter. Then just when you finally figured out things in your new "home"....Boom, you're caught and transported again to yet another strange town. That would be maddening, and you certainly wouldn't be acting normally.
  19. Woah! Yep that hefer meant business.
  20. Oh, well you never indicated before that you were hiring for sales. I could use a winter gig and I think I could sell (and install/perform maintenance) a few. Call or PM me and let's discuss my cut.
  21. More like a Spinnerbait or a Swim jig. I've had limited success with them when fish are suspended right under the docks, and I hear they are great on lakes with submerged grass. I love fishing them cuz they feel cool as hell (thumpity thumpity thumpity) and you just kinda expect something to rip the rod out of your hand. But I personally do way better with a swim jig and boot-tail trailer. I guess I just need to have a real good day with one so I can build more confidence in them.
  22. Well sure. When on a gay lake you gotta throw gay colors. I'm kidding, I'M KIDDING!
  23. Well good, that should ensure that outboard mechanics SOMEWHERE will benefit.....and I'm all for that. JFTR, the stuff I say on here is intended to HELP you guys. I'm not a long-standing member of OA because I want to pimp my business. If something I say here hurts your feelings then SORRY, but I've never said a single thing about outboard motors that wasn't true. Four Strokes are JUNK, that's just a fact. If you don't believe me today I guarantee you will eventually. I mean seriously, you've only owned one since last February for crying out loud. So when you wake up to the harsh reality of your poorly spent dollars just remember I TOLD YA SO. ? Would you disagree over a blanket statement about Fords? Cuz I have a few of those I could share too.
  24. Bullfrog, Cotton candy, Smoke purple.... Who throws that crap on LO ?
  25. Good deal ! I do hope that someday before I'm dead they'll stop constantly relocating keepers so that bass can be bass once again, instead of perpetually lost critters whose habits and home range are repeatedly disrupted. Either less tournaments, or a better scoring system. Are we really still impressed by the guy holding two hogs up on a stage? I've seen enough of it myself.
