  1. Looks like lots of snow & ice this winter. 😊 We'll see.
  2. Persimmon. They are getting ripe for the eating right now.
  3. Anybody that goes all ga-ga about Brown trout should take the same rod & tackle and start chasing White bass & Hybrid Stripers. Way more plentiful, fight harder, and they are even delicious to eat !
  4. That night that it got down in the 50Β°s put me into thermal shock. I was about ready to turn the furnace on. One night of cool weather and now everyone in town is taking COVID tests, and buying Theraflu at the local DG. πŸ™„
  5. Never πŸ€”πŸ˜Ž
  6. I guarantee it will run faster and longer than any 50hp outboard that you can buy BRAND NEW today. And at a fraction of the price. πŸ‘
  7. Manufactured in 1995-96 and sold/titled as NEW in 2002. She's a sweetheart! Fully refreshed and converted anti-VROπŸ‘ With or without controls. Trade offers considered. Installed or we can load it in your truck. Call or text if interested, and we can make it happen immediately.
  8. Completely restored, converted anti-VRO, better than anything you can buy NEW today. With, or without controls. Installed, or loaded into your truck. Trade offers considered. Call or shoot me a text if interested and we can make it happen with a quickness.
  9. Looks darn good πŸ‘ Need to tweak that winch stand πŸ€”
  10. More than I care to list, but I could probably compile a list of unfavorable things just as long.
  11. The Ruger Mark 3 pistols with any age on them ALWAYS need a mainspring. Everyone was taught not to dry fire them.....so the mainspring gets sloppy/weak from being cocked and in a drawer/cabinet for years & years.
  12. Just FYI, once information, pictures, ect. are copied and saved to another site...... there's no "scrubbing" of specific files unless you have creator credentials to the site that it is saved on. A hacker would have to kill the entire site. Illegally.
  13. Everyone is consumed with what it is doing/has done to competitive fishing on the professional level, but nobody is noticing what it is doing to the "sport" on the grass-roots level. It's not a SPORT anymore, it is just another GAME. And allowing it to continue is eventually going to open the door to further issues (waypoint sharing/selling, ECT.) I can't imagine anything GOOD in the future, coming from the use of FFS in competition.
  14. The coolest dove hunt I ever experienced was over the sod farms in Georgia. It was like shooting birds over a golf course πŸ˜… No problem finding birds or chasing cripples at all ! πŸ‘
  15. You're both pretty darn lucky πŸ‘ I was a wicked hunter/fisher when I was 19.....but aside from that I was basically worthless. I wasn't fit for marriage, or being a parent of any sort until I was in my 30's Boy, if you think I'm a POS SMARTASS now....you shoulda known me then. πŸ˜”
  16. One of the coolest things about being a CoMo employee is you automatically have access to some of the best hunting ground in the state !
  17. Co-Mo for me. They hit us pretty hard....but they are the only game in town so they get to do whatever they want. When the girls are gone and it's just me and the dog I can operate on 4.50-6.00 a day.....but that's as cheap as it ever gets They do treat their employees well, and they are extremely quick to repair outages, but that's the only praise I can give them.
  18. 8.00 - 13.00 per day here, just to keep the lights on. These girls make sure that the washer & dryer runs NON-STOP πŸ™„
  19. I've tasted bear that was killed over a bushel basket of bacon grease and 2 day old pancake batter. I cleaned my plate, but didn't ask for seconds. If given a choice I'd choose the bacon and pancakes.
  20. What do you prefer your bears to eat? Blueberries and humans ? πŸ˜…
  21. It blows my mind that in 2024 the protocol for such things STILL hasn't been figured out to anyone's satisfaction. It surprises me that anything, including delivering the mail, can actually get done. πŸ™„
  22. Make sure that the voltage at the foot pedal (plug?) is the same as the voltage at the batteries. Both loaded & unloaded. If not then start looking from downstream--up for any signs of heated wiring or a poor connection somewhere. If all checks good, then she needs to go to the nearest Minn Kota service center.
  23. Just leave the motor straight up&down for a bit and it will drain out just fine. Pull the lower unit drain plug briefly, before a hard freeze, to ensure that there isn't any water in the lube. That's all you need to do.
  24. It hasn't changed any since your last trip through, has it ? That's why I love it here ! πŸ‘ Seems that everytime I leave home I notice some new development going on somewhere. Won't be long until the entire state is a concrete jungle. πŸ˜₯
  25. From what I gather, they are as tiny as a grain of pollen. They cover the ground under trees and when you walk through there it poofs them up like particles of dust. When they land on moist skin they find a pore and immediately burrow into it because they are thirsty.
