  1. Actually, if I remember correctly, he is retrieving the mail with gloves and tongs, then leaving the mail in his garage for a week before touching it again.... Providing that the mailman and all the postal workers are still alive on the 7th day. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Jesus H Christ, that's some scary Science. I'll almost be glad for Biden to go ahead and get moved into the Whitehouse so that all this BS will stop. And stop it will. Magically. ๐Ÿ™„
  2. Wicked deadly combination right here. You're welcome.๐Ÿ˜Š
  3. A swim jig with a paddle-tail type trailer on it has a real sexy side-to-side rocking motion, as well as the tail action. Has a very lifelike fall when it's sinking....especially on a tight line. It comes thru cover better, and can be pitched-flipped-skipped into places that you can't get a spinnerbait into. If the water is relatively clear a good swim jig will probably outfish a spinnerbait 10:1 no matter where you are in the world. And I'd put it above chatterbaits in most instances....but that's just me.
  4. No more, or less than it is anywhere else. There hasn't been a lick of social distancing going on here since it all began, so according to the "Science" we should be the biggest hotbed of Corona in the world.
  5. When the drum are biting..... it's gonna be a tough day.
  6. No kidding. Whoever decided to put alcohol in egg nog should be heel stomped. One of our lake bars started serving "loaded milkshakes" last Summer. You've never seen so many people hanging off the side of boats puking their guts out. ๐Ÿ™„ Of course those among the braindead figured it was the Covid causing it.
  7. You had a literal FORTUNE at your feet. ๐Ÿค‘
  8. I knew they weren't real monkeys. I always got an A in Science ๐Ÿ˜Š Hell, nobody has a patent on Scuds....Let's reintroduce these pets as "River Ferrets" and make some cash on this deal ! They'll sell like hot cakes on Facebook. It will help fund our fishing habits.
  9. Here ya go. This image must have been before my time though, because I remember them being 4.99 And yep, folks in the town I grew up in had lawns (we called them "yards"). And most of them were pretty big by today's standards too, averaging 3/4 to 1.5 acres. Complete with a dog pen for the bird dogs and a garden big enough to feed half the town. Only the ultra-rich had RIDING MOWERS. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Our neighbor was the county coroner, his kid was a spoiled little punk that got to mow their yard with a sweet JD rider. I always wanted to punch him in the face. ๐Ÿ˜…
  10. Ahh, so YOU'RE THE ONE using up all the phucking toilet paper ! ๐Ÿ˜–
  11. You must have never read a Comic Book, or "Boys Life" as a kid. The ads and order forms were in every single issue. $4.99 baby! One penny less than I got for mowing the widow Landrum's yard. ๐Ÿ˜Š
  12. What you're doing here, is giving businesses, and business owners that SUCK.....a scapegoat "from the government" for bankruptcy. Loans will go unpaid, ya know. And guess who gets to make up for that? It's BS! People have been spending money like freakin'crazy. Noticed any reduced traffic in YOUR neighborhood?
  13. Al, do you know who I am? I'm a small business owner in what they claim is a "hard hit area" because "Lake Ozark folk ignored the warnings" (oh the horror!!!). Did you miss all those slanderous articles about Lake of the Ozarks and surrounding businesses in all the STL, SPFLD., and KC papers? Hell, we should all be dead by now.
  14. OMG, that is the biggest crock of BS I've heard to date. For starters:. This economy is FINE, especially considering all the malarkey going around. The rest of that bleeding heart crap you added..... I'm not even gonna go there. How's YOUR water ?
  15. Well.... actually.....South facing seawalls that don't have docks blocking the sun and shading them..... might take a bit of running around to find. There were only 3 good spots in the 8 miles I covered on Tuesday. Google Earth is definitely your friend.....will certainly save you some gas.
  16. Make a clamp on transom bracket for the transducer. A set of those cheesy clamp-on 2 D cell running lights will provide all the materials needed to configure one. That way you can quickly pull it off and lay it in the boat when running sketchy spots.
  17. I wish the monkeys would all get it.
  18. Can someone explain to me why people driving down the highway, alone in their cars, are wearing masks? Is it for the sake of the hitchhiker that they might decide to pick up?
  19. I've always been a Lowrance guy myself, but I sure don't have anything bad to say about Garmin units. I've seen a ton of Lowrance/Eagle, Hummingbird, and Raymarine units swallow their @$*, but I can't recall a single Garmin unit that I have ever had to replace because the unit itself failed. Usually, with Garmin stuff, I am moving the console unit to the bow, and replacing it with the latest/greatest/bigger Garmin on the console.
  20. Has anyone determined yet whether or not fish can get infected with Covid ? Might not be safe to C&R
  21. They probably said "NOOOOO" to the hot tub invite. Doubt they care whether or not you have one. ๐Ÿ˜‚
  22. I can only speak for myself and my circle of contacts, but I can confidently say that if the media had never even mentioned Covid, and noone was constantly talking about it, then nobody would even think that anything was out of the ordinary. I mean honestly, the funeral homes in my area of the state aren't any busier now than they usually are. I haven't noticed their hearses running around all over the place or anything. Can't even remember the last time I had to pull over and remove my hat. Are casket and tombstone makers having a banner year? I would expect they'd be hiring. No? Backhoe operators are still anxious for jobs. It isn't like they are "buried with work". (pun intended) ๐Ÿ˜ making holes in cemetery's. For real though..... I'll start getting concerned when life insurance companies begin going bankrupt.
  23. It hasn't increased the average winning weight, but it certainly has increased the number of bags in contention to win, by a factor of x5. As guys get even better at it, it's going to be interesting to see. The kinda cool thing though, is that it's now possible (and probable) to win a 150 boat tournament from a 14' Jon boat with a 15hp motor and 3 gallons of gas, on ANY lake.
  24. Possibly. I never tested that theory on the 400 pounders who's favorite activity was "reading". ๐Ÿ˜‚ I was always blown away by the number of "nurses". Nearly every TRULY single female on the dating sites..... assuming that they DO HAVE A CAREER....is a nurse. Works out good because what they really want is a Doctor....but they'll entertain fill-ins until a Doctor comes along. No commitment required by other lowly laborers. ๐Ÿ˜Š
  25. A person, who you consider a friend, that would get pissed, and stay pissed over a political argument......was never your friend to begin with.
