  1. πŸ˜… FTFY Is that the same one that starts your outboard? If so you may wanna have your stator output voltage tested.
  2. I have to agree. My grandpa was a police chief, and he was kinda famous in our little town for never carrying a gun. He said it just caused things to escalate when they didn't need to. Of course that was back in the day when if you were drunk and causing trouble they'd just take you home and tell your wife/mom to KEEP YOU THERE. And they did. Or they'd put you in the "drunk tank" and you could just get up and leave as soon as you sobered up. Things kinda worked better before they decided to start trying to give everyone a criminal record and empty their bank accounts.
  3. I think you have to break that down into the percentage of each, that cops come into contact with. I seriously doubt that a cop is more likely to kill a black person than he/she is a white person, given that all other things related to the contact are the same. A white guy with his pants sagging down to the top of his crank, screaming "Oh heyll naw, you honky mufukkas ain't about hancuffin ME! And ya best gimme back dat blunt befo it goes out cuz I ain't about looking fo my Bic"...... ....is just as likely to get capped.
  4. Hard to say because you're sitting still, but yeah probably a school of shad or white bass/crappie/bluegill fry. BTW, your battery is toast. 😊
  5. Handcuff them to a telephone pole, then go have coffee and a donut. By the time they get back to them the subject will be all calmed down and ready to cooperate. If not, then tell them you'll be back to check on them again after lunch. Why are they always in a big hurry to get them into jail right away? People that are completely out of control just need a little time to collect themselves. No big deal.
  6. What bothers me is that the crime they were arresting him for has no evidence to back it up. If there is a counterfeit 20 in my billfold, am I automatically a felon ?
  7. Do you think there's any reason to believe that what we think of "aliens" is accurate at all? Couldn't they just be here among us, but be so small that we don't see them? Intelligent life forms exist that we simply cannot monitor. We only sometimes are effected by the results of them. We ignorantly assume that aliens weigh 90-150lbs. and that their transportation devices (if they even require them) are about the same size as ours. But couldn't it be possible that their "craft" (if they even need a craft) is the size of a speck of pollen, or even smaller? And we just exist on a completely different scale? We are unable to communicate with dust mites, but if we could it's possible that they could teach us alot.
  8. You find that more incredible than a smart phone ? When I think of all the things this phone is capable of, and how it does it....my head starts to hurt.
  9. Well, we always knew that Patrick was a poof.
  10. I'll ask you the same thing I asked Gavin.....maybe YOU will answer. What is so terrible about your life right now? What do you want/need that you don't have, or can't get? And how could a president, even if he/she was a perfect one, fix it?
  11. I'm just really confused about all these people that are bitching, who have absolutely nothing to complain about.
  12. I don't feel flim flammed one bit. My family and I are doing great. Sorry if yours isn't, would help if I could. Were the regs beneficial? Noticed any environmental pitfalls since they were pulled back? I haven't. That's unfortunate, sorry. I'm happy and fortunate to have a nice house in a nice place without super high RE taxes. Having my business on my property just works out great at tax time. It's been a win/win since I started. If it ever isn't then I'll just give myself a raise to compensate for it. You can do that too I think. πŸ‘ Chin up, brother, life is good....and you know it. 😊 Seriously, what do you want/need that you don't have or can't get?
  13. Not mine,. Soooo it's a push. 😊 Raised it more than 3.5k did he? Cuz you got that back.
  14. I guess because he's real, and I'm not threatened by any outstanding intelligence with him. I trust him. He means what he says, and he says what he feels. There's a level of safety in that. I find it comforting. Sure he does. Moreso than the leaders elsewhere I'd say. You can't win this game by putting the environment first ALL THE TIME, especially when others NEVER do. He has kids and grandkids...of course he cares. What other candidate convinced you that they genuinely cared.....and that they would actually do something to measurably improve it? And if they served a term or two....did they? The air and water is still pretty nice, and gradually improving, where I live. πŸ‘
  15. That's only a bad thing if they had no reason to be. My parents and grandparents were always initially skeptical of black people until they spent some time around them and got to know them well.....but in all honesty there was a solid reason for them to be that way. Had nothing to do with skin color, it had to do with attitude, work ethic, and honoring words. You can deny it if you want, but the old saw about "there goes the neighborhood" didn't happen for no good reason whatsoever. Where I grew up black people had the same opportunities as everyone else, including the Vietnamese people. The Vietnamese people didn't blow it, they were actually better at work ethic, attitude, and keeping their word than most white folks were. If they told you something you could 100% take it to the bank, they never brought property values down, and they were always improving even when surrounding white folks were just keeping the reasonable constant. Everyone I knew respected them highly. I'm VERY sorry to say that it just didn't go like that very often with black people, for whatever reason.... But I was there, I saw and heard it all, and I refuse to blame or guilt the white folks or the Vietnamese for that. To be nice, and PC, I'll say that It was just a culture thing... I guess. Nobody crapped on 96% of them, that 96% crapped on themselves....just like 5-8% of the white people did. This was in a population of 21,000
  16. I used to have a neighbor that was the most patriotic person I've ever known. Before the tornado ate my place I had a 60' flag pole and my neighbor was always up my posterior about flag etiquette (up, down, up, down, half staff, then back up....it was rather tiring to tell you the truth). So when my flag got all faded and torn I got a replacement, and old Earl said he'd take my old one to the VFW hall and "properly dispose of it". Well Earl forgot until about a month later and I had already pitched it. He about had a $#!t hemmorage. I took my posterior eating, but at the end of it I told him, "Earl I get it, I was a boy scout and all that, but listen....I wasn't granted that flag by the United States Coast Guard or anything like that.....I freakin' bought it at Wal-Mart !"
  17. That's kinda what I always figured. I'll put up a sign for whoever I like the best, but I don't bother with the polling places. I'd rather just keep working, or take a long lunch break. My wife does though, she loves it, it's like a social gathering for her and the local gaggle of hens.
  18. I'll argue politics for sport, but truthfully I don't "vote". Never have, not ever in my life. Have never even registered to vote. This sums up why...
  19. Good! πŸ‘
  20. Probably someone who is living under their roof and eating from their table. Otherwise, yeah ! I can marry a one-legged penguin if I'm paying the rent and buying its food.
  21. How do you truly know if you're a D or an R? I think EVERYONE (and by everyone, I mean past felons too) should be allowed to have guns, if a person is eligible for release then they should have their rights restored, BUT I see no need for anyone other than the military to have high capacity magazines, so if banning those makes anyone feel safer, then fine. I am pro choice on the abortion issue. We have a population problem already, don't make it worse just because of some ignorant religious belief. Obviously if you choose to have an abortion though it needs to happen asap. I think the government should stay out of family issues unless a serious crime is committed. If something going on in your family displeases you then you are free to leave. If someone prevents you from leaving then THAT becomes a crime. Otherwise stay out of the family unit entirely. Wives that get repeatedly beaten are on their own if they don't leave. If you wanna provide a place for them to temporarily go.... that's fine, but don't automatically throw the dude in jail for knocking the piss out of her..... because there's a 89% chance that she either provoked it, could have avoided it, or saw it coming and failed to GTFO. That goes for monitoring people's actions after a divorce too, if you screwed and married a loser then suffer the consequences and leave the rest of society alone about it. Our tax dollars don't need to be spent forcing your ex to comply and be a good parent. If they are only supporting their kids in order to stay out of jail then you obviously made a bad choice. That's not OUR problem. Taxing should be equal across the board, a percentage per dollar earned regardless of how rich/poor you are. And sales tax rates should be left up to each individual state (but not by the county) and it shouldn't matter what item is being bought. So....what am I ? (Left myself wide open there I'm sure) 😊
  22. It's a blend of successful hard workers that range from Nebraska to Texas, and from Colorado to Indiana, and all points in between. So, yeah. πŸ‘ Or at least as close as you can get to one. 😊
  23. I never even knew of any "bad press" until it was too late for it to matter. πŸ˜…
  24. The only thing I can think of to bash Trump for, is that there isn't gonna be any mainlake fishing happening on his birthday.
  25. She made a choice to marry and have a child with a successful man with healthy genes. She's in it for the long haul it seems to me....but if I'm wrong THEN you can call her a gold digger. Not now though. Not yet. Gold diggers typically marry old sickly rich dudes.....not ones that are healthy and capable of becoming president of a nation. You're so twisted in that direction, I'm afraid your ribs are going to start snapping. Wake up, brother! 😎
