  1. Thanks Ryan 😊 I mean if you're closer to somebody else my feelings certainly won't be hurt, but since you posted in the Lake Ozark section I thought you might be fairly close.
  2. That deletes the constant message on the dash panel? If so which fuse is it? Because I'm perfectly capable of knowing when I have a dogdamned flat! Besides, I run BFG A/T KO 10ply's and flats don't happen. The truck could get demolished by a freight train and the one thing you'd be able to salvage would be those tires. I don't even bother carring a spare. They don't even require air in them to get you back home unless you're hauling a heavy load.
  3. I can squeeze it in if you are in the LO area. You'll just have to calibrate the compass on your first trip out. It's about a 3hr. Project. ($285.00)
  4. The fun has already began. Previous owner added really sweet 18" wheels but didn't add the sensor equipped valve stems. Went to grab some today (so I don't have to look at the SERVICE TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR billboard on the dash anymore). 52.00 apiece....for valve stems, plus 32.50 to reflash the control module.
  5. Life intervenes sometimes. The cool thing about fish is that when you decide to get back after them they are always waiting right where you left them.
  6. Awesome! Thanks. 🤩
  7. Ok cool, just making sure. We haven't actually "hung out together" so sometimes ya don't know whether someone is actually being snarky or is just bustin' yer balls. You might be able to beat me fishing on TR one out of three days. 😎. I'm not coming down there though so you got me by default. 🍳
  8. Conspiracy theorist! 🙄
  9. Dang! What the hell did I do to get under your skin? I thought we were airgun buddys. If I let you beat me at fishing will you be my friend again? 🤔
  10. A Cabela's combo is unlikely to be a very fast rod. Personally I wouldn't over-line it, even for a beginner. Lighter lines are easier to mend, and mending is more important than being able to shoot 30' of line with a Trout rod.
  11. Right on. So not much different from my 99 Silverado LS Z71. Never had actual oil pressure issues but have replaced that pressure sensor behind the intake 3 times, and the 4L60E puked at 196k (but nobody is harder on transmissions than I am). I "fixed" the coolant leak with that stuff in a can.....worked good, but partially plugged the heater core. I expected the Tahoe to have a G80 locker but don't see that on the sticker in the glovebox.
  12. Well I just bought a '04 Tahoe. 167kmiles for 4500.00 (clean as a whistle, couldn't pass it up). Anything I should know about that year class? Guess I'll sell the Suburban, and I'm still shopping for another pickup truck.
  13. Right on. Well if nobody closer can use it then I'll snatch it up the next time I'm in your area.
  14. Where are ya at ? I could use it, but it isn't worth driving 2 hours for.
  15. I am capable of keeping it PG-13, unless I get about 4 pounds behind, then it would begin to get R rated for sure. You just remember that the dip net in the boat is not for netting fish, it is for poking Ronnie in the balls, or striking him firmly across the back of the neck anytime he even looks like he is winding up to set the hook on anything. "Get the net" is gonna take on a whole new meaning in this fiasco.
  16. Any date after July 9 is good with me.
  17. No prob. I figured Pomme was a good proving ground since only a few spend alot of time there, and it's kinda central.
  18. You wanna shot at the winner?
  19. We can either split time in the Ranger with gear, or Marty said he'd chauffeur us if we flyfished. Maybe we should make it a 2 day event and do both! 😀 Been a long time for me too.
  20. If we can do it out of your boat then sure. I'm not FFing out of this bassboat, too many pedals, knobs, and cleats.
  21. I want a piece of Ronnie Moore on PDT 😜
  22. One day he ain't got gas money to get over the hill to go fishing.....Next thing ya know he is traveling abroad and surfin' for the best deals on lodging. Take a nap and wake up to a whole new world. I'm freakin' jealous!
  23. Sounds like a hoot. No need to buy beer, there are ice cold ones here, just swing by anytime after 4:30
  24. They are good to eat. The thing that makes river Smallmouth different is how long it takes them to grow. If a bunch of us didn't practice C&R all the time then you wouldn't even be able to remember what one tastes like. Thankfully there is only a couple of Oneshot's on the Niangua. If there were many more that river wouldn't be worth a crap. So don't poke the lion too hard ol'friend. 😉
  25. Ronnie has indeed "ate a dog". So he speaks from honest experience.
