    What's Cooking?

BH, you garden but you don't have CHICKENS ? You need some dang yard birds !
  2. Yes sir that is a fine pond. Looks a little void of cover but y'all don't seem to have much trouble knowing where to throw. Good on ya!
  3. How do you shove a boat up on a trailer at idle speed ? Maybe Pa he tsi stands for...Coast in and winch it.
  4. She prolly wanted to do a little Ned Rigging.
  5. Either that or "Prop busting rockpile".
  6. "Pa he tsi."...... What is that supposed to mean anyway?
  7. Good grief ! LOL yep that'll do it. Have you been using your outboard as a weedeater?
  8. A couple years ago I would have said trout, but warm water FFing is gaining a lot of attention. Probably still trout though.
  9. My point was that even if the lawmen were "patrolling" how would they have prevented your tire getting partially removed, unless they literally shook down anyone in the act of changing a tire? And how is them patrolling now going to stop anything else from happening ? So, did anyone show up to dust for fingerprints?
  10. So now you can't change a tire without showing your pedigree ? How's that work?
  11. To Hell? Where's that? Just trying to keep y'all tuned in to reality. Nothing is gained by believing something that isn't true, regardless of how "widely accepted" it might be. I see a lot of that going on.
  12. The tiniest of electrical tie straps (zip strips) are the bomb for spinnerbait skirts. Just get the smallest ones they make in clear.
  13. Cool. But THIS... is not an overheat scenario. As turning it off then restarting immediately is not allowing the engine to cool enough to reset the heat sensor.
  14. Usually the digital voltage display on the graph is way better (when running) than the analog meter on the dash. But they won't read the dip in voltage during cranking unless the motor takes 5+ seconds to cold start.
  15. Lots of propaganda about "meth heads", they get blamed for everything that turns up missing. There are plenty of people that do meth around here too and contrary to popular thought they are the hardest and best workers around. Ain't nothing lazy about a person on speed! I hired one to help me swap a transmission in my truck and he was like a freakin' machine. No tools came up missing and he hasn't been back to steal props off boats or anything else. The real thieves are probably glad everyone is pointing fingers at the speed junkies.
  16. Good grief! I've done 110 in a day, several times, it sucked. Love to fish/hate long boat rides. It just ain't worth it to me. I'll make my money some other way.
  17. Yeah I'm trying to remember seeing/hearing anyone ever giving anyone else an overly hard time while launching/loading/fishing, and I'm having trouble remembering any. Other than a guy screaming at his wife cuz her trailer backing skills weren't up to par. Where exactly is this area where everyone is having trouble getting along ? Is it just on Stockton? Weird!
  18. Aggressor, How far from the access did you get before your wheel fell off ?
  19. No one end of Truman is any better than the other, so for someone new to the lake I say "pick a ramp and stay within 10 miles of it". My area is out of Windsor crossing. That is the only area of that lake that I ever fish. I know it well, and I always do OK.
  20. Marine batteries are built with heavier cases, the plates are secured to withstand impact/vibration, and they are vented so as not to spill/leak electrolyte even if turned upside down. Aside from that I really don't know.
  21. Ok, 1994 40hp It is showing as part of a drive gear kit, part# 585269 ($34.04) I can't remember if those caps serve as a locking ring retainer, but if so you WILL need to replace it OR fashion some kind of sleeve to keep the ring from popping off.
  22. Gimme a Model number. Next time just rotate the flywheel clockwise a 1/4 turn by hand and the drive gear should fall back down.
  23. Hey I love those for what they do to propshaft seals. They are like my little minions.
