  1. Floated this stretch on the 24th. Perfect day to be on the water. was in a group of 40 but paddled ahead or lagged behind. Caught a bunch of little bass & bluegill. Caught a nice 17" smally. Ned rig
  2. cant wait till sunday. be there for the week Protem area
  3. I'm told the ER in the Mountain Home emergency room has a wall full of lures that they've pulled out of people. Every time I hear these stories of people having a treble hook stuck in them with a fish flopping around on on one of the other points it gives me the willies. They do ( or did) About 12 years ago or so my buddy and I were at Bull fishing our yearly tournament. Buried his Wiggle in his thumb. Took the trip to Mountain home, Doc wanted to keep it and add it to the wall. " oh hell no, thats my go to Wart I've had for years"
  4. Sorry, we do 6 bass
  5. we had our annual private bass tournament 12-13. great time as always. 24 boats. never matters what the conditions are some always bring in fish. My partner and I mostly fished Ceder-Big- Buck creeks, and a smaller indent by the ferry. Caught a nice SM on a spinner in the buck brush. Limited out on bass tuesday mostly on silverery worms. Most of us were catching bass on spiners, A rigs, grubs, lizards, megabass only a few crappie caught along with a few walleye-one being 4lbs while it was beautiful blue bird skies 3 of the 4 days down there, was hard to get a pattern going. mostly 58ish water , found some 62 up in the creeks. Big bass tournament days was a 3.2 thou sunday a buddy had a 4.3 winners for the 2 days had 40.1 lbs Couldnt get any crappie on minnows, I mostly fished spinners, ned, and grubs
  6. couple years I suddenly had all kinds of issues and warning lights start on my '15 F150. took it to the dealer as I have the extended warrentee. Found out it was a darn Chipmunk had crawled up and chewed thru a wire harness, $740.00 to fix Dealer said he'd been seeing a lot of it, seems few years ago Ford switch to a more "bio Friendly" insulation on the wiring thats based on Soy bean. apparently its tasty to critters
  7. lakewoods, Protem by the ferry great owners. we moved our tournament up there from Oakland yrs ago we usually have 25-30 boats
  8. Thanks for that report. We got on the water at 3 pm till 6. I pitched a no hitter. My partner caught a nice 2.4 small mouth on a wart in a cove off the main lake Temps 51 was the highest we saw up in cedar. Got a nice largo mouth up there too. Beautiful day for a boat ride thou. Lol
