Hey oneshot..nice cats!! is this what you was using?I cant find any since their factory caught fire a couple years ago.The places i got it from started stocking other brands after they couldnt get it no more. That was the only bait i would bet money on.If there were catfish in a lake they would bite sonnys super sticky.

Thats funny.Must not be getting enough traffic on his site.Me i would hillbilly it.Turn the main off and run a garden hose from my faucet over to the neighbors faucet and then tell the neighbor you learned it from contractor dot com.

i just drove by the ramp in town off of RB road and this is the barricade. No cars, trucks, trailers in the parking lot. They have the bathroom door propped open.I think if they really didnt want anyone in they would have used concrete barriers across the entrances.

Having Trouble With Troller Fishermen
blue79 replied to Old plug's topic in General Angling Discussion
If someone comes within 10 feet of my boat im putting on my biggest weight and treble hook and im gonna try to catch a seat or some carpet.I do alot of trolling and i stay out of everyones way.If someone cuts in front of me ill just go way around them and let them fish. But 10 feet thats way to close. If someone came that close to me and then glared at me im gonna give em about 20 minutes and then come cruising up within 10 feet of them and stop and then pee off the side of the boat.Or get in front of them and troll an empty tacklebox behind my boat. -
Painting Plastic Paddle Blade
blue79 replied to Woodland Artisan's topic in Lodging, Camping, Kayaking and Caoneing
What about vinyl spraypaint?Ive changed the color of my boat seats 2 times and i cant scratch the paint off if i tried. It might work on plastic to. -
Saw some guys at Orleans trail marina yesterday and they had a bunch of crappie and a nice big cat.I trolled around with a blank wigglewart(all the paint peeled off)and i caught some walleye, crappie, bass, and one channel. They were all small but at least they were biting.Today i ended up moving my jugs twice and only caught two and only caught one small crappie trolling around. One of these days i need to get down to the south end and try for some cats.Heres the two i caught this morning north of 215.

I live in Stockton and work in the Belton/Raymore area just south of KC and this is the little pond i park my car by.This morning i put some new line on my pole and put a pb/pumpkin jig on but i only got one cast in and then i had to go to work.I only worked till about 1pm and was able to get a couple of casts in and some pics of the sunfish before i headed home.Ive even caught them on a big white buzzbait before. My cousin caught a 9lb bass out of this pond and put it back in.In 97 i put 5-5gallon buckets of 10-12inch bass from a lake that was being drained and so did my dad.My dad also put a 10lb cat in.This is an old pond and i know there is some big bass in it,but after you cast about 10 times the bass get spooked and all you catch is the sunfish.Thats ok cause the bottom pic is all i catch at stockton.

I have a Luhr Jenson (The King) downrigger with the baseplate. A Cannon 8Ball weight mold. A brand new melting pot(holds 10lbs). 2 downrigger weights(7lbs each). 18lbs of scuba weights to melt down. Best cash offer or trade for fishing, boating items. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I also have a Dakota Alert 3000 driveway alarm system that has 2 transmitters 2 hoses and 1 receiver. Mount the transmitter(black box) to a tree or post/fence and run the hose across the driveway. Mount the other transmitter across your other entrance/exit of your property. Receiver is about the size of a small answering machine.Take it in your basement or garage or wherever your at and you will know when someone enters/exits your property. You can have different sounds for different driveways. Transmitters work off a 9volt battery and reaches about 600ft from the receiver. Its nice to know that you will be alerted when your boat/car/truck/trailer/equipment is leaving your property late at night. $100 or trade. http://www.dakotaalert.com/catb2b1/product_info.php?cPath=47&products_id=124&osCsid=89tcj7f0efr0919j34qcmptjv1 Thanks..blue79

When im cleaning fish at the marina and people walk by and say (wow...where did ya catch those?) ill tell them if they are heading to their boat with their fishing gear.I will tell them what worked for me if they are going fishing (especially if they have kids). If they dont have their gear with em,i just assume they are their to cruise around on their jetskis or tube, then i lie. Small lakes and ponds,i lie and tell family and friends i caught them at a different lake or pond.If you tell them then the next time you go there you will find trash and cigarette butts everywhere, and that puts an end to a fishing spot real quick.

Ive seen a hog in the back seat of a Lincoln, and a goat in the seat of an old truck.Ive never seen a cow in a canoe. That would be fun to watch drunk or sober.

I cant stand the heat so i look forward to winter.I hope we have a good hard freeze that lasts a week or two to kill off all the bugs, and one huge snow with alot of rain afterwards to melt all the snow real quick and flood all the creeks to wash all the leaves out.I look for arrowheads in the winter so i do alot of walking in the creeks.I can get warm in the winter but its hard for me to get cooled off in the summer.Im not gonna have a heatstroke in the winter and i sure aint gonna freeze to death around here.I found one of those little square gas bathroom heaters thats converted to propane and its gonna get mounted on the pontoon for winter fishin. Its funny,we just had snow 120 days ago and were already talkin about winter. My guess is--alot of rain,2 big snows,January will be bitter cold and we all have lost our summer tans and there will be alot of chatter on the fishing forums cause its to cold to fish. But one thing is for sure-we wont get ran over by jetskis or tubers.

My cats always have a piece of dark yellow up by its head.I cut the red,the grey from the skin, and the darkest yellow from my fillets.Soak in white vinegar and water for a couple hours and rinse well.(Do not freeze after you soak in vinegar or they will have a funny taste).
-
Soak them in white vinegar and water for a while and then rinse.I use Harold Ensley fish fry coating mix from War Eagle Mill. You use it on all meats and vegetables.

my buddy lived in warsaw as a kid and he said him and his brother would shoot them in their basement with a blowgun.

Your mom doesnt remove the cigarette from her lips before telling the state trooper to kiss her *ss. Some of the wheels from your house are on your truck.

There are huge fish in there.I lived in lamar for 8 years before moving to stockton..This bass inhaled my buzzbait.I released it but seen it floating bout an hour later so i took it home.Never weighed it but it was a hog and tasted yummy. The 3 cats i caught one night in 10 minutes at midnight and that was all i needed.I caught 5 5-6lb bass in about 20 minutes on the north side of the lake in the grass by the dam.We had a ton of rain and the lake was way up and all the bass were laying in the tall grass that got flooded. One time on the gravel road on the east side of the lake i saw a fish that was every bit of 5 ft swimming around.I dont know what it was but it was long and skinny.I could only see it when it swam in a 25ft wide area that the sun was hitting.I threw a bunch of lures at it and it would turn the other way.Would love to find out what it was.Was fishing by the dock once and a guy loaded his boat onto his trailer and then he started digging in his truck and came out with his scales and pulled 2 10lb bass out of his livewell weighed them and then released em.
