  1. Has anyone n here got the Lews crush combo? I go one and it cast amazing and i love the big knobs on the reel but it immediately started just shredding my line, I took it back and they gave me another one and it started doing the same thing. Im on my third one now and it is just as bad you can hear and feel the mono coming through the guides like it is scrapping on somthing. Not sure what to do now, getting tired of wasting line. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue or if im just that unucky
  2. I have Falcons, Lews and Ducketts. I have to say i like my Ducketts the best, I have the Micro Magics and micro guides fall off all the time is the only down side. I would look into the Duckett Terex, my buddy got one and man it feels nice and has larger guides on it.
  3. http://lakes.garmin.com/, looks like it covers them. Looks like bass pro has the 93sv for $599 right now. https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/Garmin-EchoMAP-93SV-CHIRP-Fishfinder-and-Chartplotter-with-LakeVu-HD-Maps I may have to get one
  4. I was in Flat Creek monday and caught them pretty good on shallow on brush. Also found some on brush further out in 20ft. About half were males but they were big ones
  5. Cant ever go wrong trolling a flicker shad on the Bluff straight across from the ramp at Beaver. Ive caught more Bass, Walleye, and Crappie there than i can count
  6. As im sitting here in a hotel in the middle of Kansas reading this i am starting to itch
  7. I was surprised how much stuff they had packed in that place.
  8. There is a bait shop there in Forsyth, and also one at 76 and 160 a little closer to Beaver. And as far as wind goes it isnt nearly as bad as Stockton especially in the Beaver Creek area. Lots of tall Bluffs keep it more protected.
  9. HAHA i wish, ive had the same old Lowrances on my boat for 3 years now
  10. Here is a fun pic of a spoonbill i came across the other day at Bridgeport
  11. Garmin will be on my next rig. The Panoptix looks so sweet
  12. be a shame if i got a scratch on her
  13. Sounds like everyone is upgrading to the Ultrex
  14. Should be called commercial live, or reply live. in 30 minutes of watching ive yet to see a guy fishing live. FLW Live is way better 90% fishing 10% talking.
  15. Just what you need, 70+ in a Tin Can
  16. Thats pretty good, I only saw one boat with a fish tied to the side all day yesterday
  17. I think i saw you guys yesterday, Black Legend with a Evinrude? Good looking rig
  18. I was there too, holy crap it was a zoo. People dragging bare hooks. Not my cup of tea, heading to Bull Shoals to get out of it
  19. Mine does that too. I think its an IPHONE thing. It will let me post about 2 out of every 5 i try. ITs a pain but if you email them to youself and choose the "small size" when sending, then download that to your computer it works better. Just a lot of work
  20. I dont know how all that crap works. All i know is i pulled the stick out of the thermostat and it ran great for another year until i traded it in on my new motor. IT was a 60hp 4 stroke if that makes any difference
  21. I had a small stick get sucked up mine once and it got wedged in the thermostat. It wouldnt let the Thermo do its job so every time i would get on plane it would beep 4 times and go into guardian mode. IT would idle just fine without the beep but as soon as i gave it gas it would shut me down.
  22. YOUR right, maybe we should put signs up and warn people about the horrible fishing up the creek
  23. I know , that drives me nuts. I may hit Bull on Friday since it is never busy then Flat creek on monday and try to avoid the weekend crowd
  24. As long as my axle comes ill probbaly be around that area chasing crappie....shooting for friday
  25. I believe this guy does, and it seems to have paid off, Article says James but i saw him in Flat https://www.flwfishing.com/news/2016-11-05-fisher-back-on-top
