I could fish with Zebco 33's and Ugly Stiks but they say you can't take it with you and believe me when I say there will not be enough left to take,lol. Middle of the road stuff is all I have ever had and I do alright...sometimes

Maybe this will help you feel better....I was over at Jewel Baits (they make the War Eagle spinnerbaits) the other day to complain to Gayle about this very thing, I wanted to see exactly how they were put together because I was afraid of them coming apart and he showed me how they can't come apart, the hook and frame are permanently attached. I think they are using a soft lead and the fight of the fish loosens the lead. He also said he hadn't heard this before but would investigate....just FYI. I guess nobody complains so they don't know so maybe someone other than me needs to drop them a e-mail or call to complain about this, I think harder lead would be better. C&R

I fish them on 3/8 oz. underspin jig head, the one that Jewel makes, it won't roll on you, that's the key for me, I slow roll it like a spinnerbait..........

We tried to cut the split ring to free the hook but nothing I had in the boat was strong enough so two hours at the emergency room and it was gone, toughest part was the shot to numb it but I got a tetanus shot too so all was good
