  1. Goody's said they have full hookups. Told them the length of the trailer and they said we "should fit". I think the wife and I may make a drive over on a weekend here soon to check it out. We want to make sure we can get around with our trailer. We will probably just drive the car over so unfortunately we won't get to fish any.
  2. I did some more searching and found a place called Goody's Resort that has full hookups. Does anyone know what that place is like?
  3. I called the state park and the lady said they do not have sewer hookups. Was the lady I spoke to wrong?
  4. Thanks! I will check their site out.
  5. I don't think it really matters where; unless those of you who know the area say it does. LOL We will have a 42ft trailer and the truck obviously so need a campground we can get that setup around in.
  6. Posted in Pomme section also but since this forum is the most active; I thought I would post it here as well. Wife and I are wanting to make a week or two trip next year to Pomme/Stockton. With that said she would really like to find a campground for our 5th wheel that has full hookups; I.E. electric, water and sewer. Are there any campgrounds in the Pomme area that have the full hookups including the sewer?

  8. I will be very interested to see how that new 4 stroke runs when you are showing us around Bull Shoals next spring. Did you ditch the motor guide and go Ultrex? Since you are part of Bill's phoenix family; you now have to come on here more often and post fishing reports!
  9. Dang hate to hear that. Hopefully they get it all this time and she recovers as quick as possible.
  10. Glad to see the update Dave. We have been wondering how things were going. Still praying for as speedy a total recovery as possible.
  11. Glad to see you and the kids having some fun catching fish. Hopefully things are going well with your wife!!
  12. Thanks for the report Bill. Wife and I will be arriving Friday for a week so hopefully we can find the same kind of things working around the Kimberling area.

    My wife

    Very sorry for your loss.
  14. His wife has some serious medical issues so he has more important things to worry about than making jig heads. You could always call fin&feather to see if they would ship some to you.
  15. We are going to stay in the white river state park just below the dam. If you are camping it looks to be a really nice park. They have a bunch of spots that have full hookups including sewer. They did say they get reserved pretty far in advance for that time of year. Does appear that there isn't a lot to do there besides fish. We have done the Branson thing enough while at TR that just fishing is great with us as that is our main thing to do anyhow. We do like to go out to eat in the evenings so we will have to find some places. Obviously Gastons will be on our list of places to try.
  16. You have a sharp boat as well Vernon. Wish I had known that was you; would have visited more for sure. If you do go to Bull next year let us know and if we are there at the same time we should all get together for supper sometime.
  17. Thanks a bunch Bill. We are staying at White River State park below the dam. Hopefully we can get something figured out on the lower end but we have no problem making a run too. I am sure we will run a LONG way up lake just to see the lake at least a time or two.
  18. We are back home from our trip to TR. This spring was definitely different than normal for us. We caught some fish but nothing like we normally do this time of year down there. The only fairly consistent thing I could find was fishing the inside part of bluff ends with a jerk bait. Used a Matt Shad colored vision 110. Other than the jerk bait it was a fish here and there on the Ned. I did catch fish on the jerk bait in other areas while Michele fished the Ned but the bite on the jerk bait wasn't as consistent as on the bluff ends. Caught 3 nice walleyes up the white on the jerk bait also. They are still swimming for you walleye guys. I will say the amount of BIG boats out already on the weekends was kind of disappointing. And the amount of big tournaments in the time we were there had us shaking our heads. We had a great time as always though. We do really love TR and will be back in June with some friends for a week and again in October for a week. With that said we booked a camp spot at Bull Shoals for our 2 week trip next spring to try and get away from all the traffic and see what we think of Bull.
  19. Wife and I are here now for our annual 2 week trip and it is tough for us as well. I am sorry to hear the guys from my state were jackasses. Saw a group of them in a restaurant and mentioned we were from NE and they were jerks to us. Unfortunately a lot of people from the eastern part of the state are a-holes and seems like a bunch of the tournament guys are self absorbed jerks. I am sure there are some good guys in the group but the bad ones sure leave a bad impression. Please don't think all Nebraskans are like that. Get away from the big cities and we are for the most part very friendly.
  20. Brownies is what we really like to catch so we normally focus on the areas they like. Just can't beat the fight they put up!
  21. Thanks for the compliments on the boat guys.
  22. Have you tried fishing a dropshot so the bait is above the snot? That is what I will try when we get there Friday if my normal areas are full of the snot.
  23. For each. I will clarify the ad.
  24. Yeah it must not have gone through as I never got anything.
  25. Yes it is a Charger 210 Elite.
