I think It was dug when It was dry by the soil density However it still looks fresh as can be While I type this I admit haven’t looked at the photo for a week and this is all memory . Scavengers such as opossum and armadillos are generally shallow diggers for grubs and worms and such Mostly seems to take place near grasses The only other thing I have considered and posted the darnadelle troubles was it was possum practicing with a ice fishing auger ??
