  1. Some really nice ones there. 🐟
  2. Well you know where to find them. If you can't, no one can. 🐟
  3. Great fish!! Great pictures!!
  4. Great fish!! Congratulations!! Hope a few details are coming.
  5. One comment I saw recently, and maybe it was from Bo, if you've located fish and shad but can't get them to bite your vertical presentation, might be worth a try at moving off of them and casting back into them from a distance. Slight change in presentation. Also, if they are not biting right now, hit another spot for a bit and then come back for another try. They may switch from no bite to a hot bite at any time for no apparent reason. Just another rookie's thoughts here. Good luck out there.
  6. To kind of answer the original question, there is not a much better scenario than fishing Table Rock Lake at sunrise, with a highly experienced guide, going to fish known productive locations for possibly numbers, and quality fish, regardless of time of year. Personally prefer artificial baits. Would not question guide’s recommendations, even though when not controlling boat, I struggle with not following my own preferences. But November, December or February would be my choice months for undisturbed fishery and possible hot trip. You’ve got to watch weather though when planning. Good luck out there. Be back maybe September or October.
  7. Don't pet the bears!!
  8. Not to excuse those using no running lights, but isn’t there a 30 mph speed limit at night on Table Rock?
  9. 19ā€ spot, wow! Guess on the weight of that? 4+?
  10. How is the following going to impact this event? Haven't heard specifics but curious to see how this works out and if some of the hotter areas are "managed out". "The region’s extreme geography also calls for league officials to manage where anglers can fish due to MLF’s stringent connectivity requirements because the MLF NOW! live stream and SCORETRACKERā„¢ are critical components of the event’s execution and coverage."
  11. Nice White! They sure can pull.
  12. It's time! Some of the best quality bite of the year should occur in the next 6 weeks or so. Prepping for that. Jig, grub, spoon, swim bait, jerk bait & crank bait will be a good mix to work with. Good luck!
  13. Correction: For Fishing, Small game hunting, trout stamp & migratory bird permits you will need to puchase ā€œConservation Partner - Lifetime Permitā€.
  14. Lifetime also includes migratory bird permit.
  15. No, a bunch = 12-14. Not like some of the collections I’ve seen on here. But I fish mine.
  16. Know this has been discussed many times here, but didn’t find info in a quick search. Appreciate best suggestions. Time to prep for WW bite. Have bunch of pre-Rapala ones to update. Thanks.
  17. with paint removed or if repainted, how can you distinguish between ā€œpreā€ or new?
  18. So many good colors! Look them over. GP Pro Blue is a solid pick for one, or GP Pro Blue 2, and French Pearl early & late in the day.
  19. So good to see bigger lm being caught. Hope you pointed her down lake a bit to areas I more often frequent. Good one! Fish a few different jerkbaits but sure like me some McSticks.
  20. But you recovered......right?
  21. Or could have removed it from the bass and reattached it to a big gar.
  22. Worked fine here, thanks! Good stuff.
  23. Why that 'eye's head is bigger than yours! And its length is from your knees to near top of head. My guess is 30#. Never caught one near that big. Seriously, great fish.
  24. Nice spotted bass!
  25. The format of counting 5 largest fish daily should give a contestant who is way down the leader board a better opportunity to more quickly move up with a few big fish. And thought I had heard that mentioned as the method to be used. Puts more emphasis on quality vs. quantity. Either way of looks to be a move in the right direction
